We had a fantastic short stay at this house with our family. An older home that has been tastefully updated and well-considered. Not pretentious, comfortable with a focus on the breathtaking views over the Patonga township and water below. Taking cues from the adjacent bush, distant headlands and coastal views, the comprehensive interior upgrades and choices, colours and furniture are relaxed and calming, we felt at home immediately. It doesn't have a new blingy kitchen or bathroom, but it doesn't need it at all. They have been refreshed and have everything you need for cooking up a storm. The landscaping/gardens, heated pool, firepit and sauna are stunning and clearly designed by someone who knows what they are doing. Really friendly and helpful hosts We'll be back.

This is a beautiful lakehouse that balances the charm of a well-loved family home with the glamour of gorgeous architecture and beautiful lake views. You get the most wonderful sunset from the deck but I also highly recommending sitting by the lake in the early morning. If the lake is still enough, it becomes a perfect mirror of the sky and the occasional pelican will float on by. The host, Justin, was also very friendly, generous, and responsive. Highly recommend for a stay a group of friends or big family.

We stayed at Daniel and Sasha’s property in Picketts Valley, what a gorgeous home it is. Everything is just like the photos. We enjoyed every bit of our stay here. With a large family catch up, their place had plenty of space and so much to do for the kids. Apart from the kids swimming in the heated pool and feeding the cutest little ponies every day, the bottom level of the house is a kids playroom. With something to do for all ages. The kids were so entertained. We are a family who love to cook, so the kitchen was fabulous. Lots of boards for a grazing table and a glass of wine in the afternoon watching the sunset with beautiful views. We appreciated the attention to detail and the simple things provided by Daniel and Sasha that made our stay really relaxing. We will be booking with them again. Thanks for making our 4 day break so enjoyable!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, Sydney and Chris made us feel so welcome and at home. Their hospitality was unmatched, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Our kids had an absolute blast playing on the property. We were lucky enough to borrow the kids toys, which kept everyone entertained. The property itself is stunning, with a lovely pool that provided endless fun and relaxation. Every corner of the home felt inviting and cozy. We couldn't have asked for a better retreat for our family and friend’s. Thank you for your warmth and kindness; we can't wait to return! We had a wonderful stay at the Balmain house. Everything was provided for an enjoyable stay with our three grandchildren. They really enjoyed watching all of the different watercraft through the sparking clean glass balconies. The ferry was so close and convenient and we had a delicious dinner at Fenwicks at the ferry dock one night. Marika was extremely hospitable and provided us an early check in since we arrived from the states. Hated to leave.

Beautiful home in lush surroundings. Kirstin and Julian are excellent hosts and the property served us well. The lovely warm pool, the beautiful lawns and stunning views, together with the close proximity to Palm Beach, Whale Beach and Avalon town centre made our family get away memorable

Roslyn is the perfect host. Always responsive and supportive. We are a small business and Roslyn was absolutely fantastic with us. Our crew worked nights which require them to sleep during the day and the surroundings of this beautiful place were exactly how she described which made our stay so special and peaceful. BOOK THE STAY! Words can’t describe how much we enjoyed our weekend here. The hosts are responsive and helpful, the short boat transfer from the marina is seamless ( thanks Collin), and the views from the house are unbeatable. The wifi is fast, the smart TV’a were great , the house is well stocked, and you have everything you need to relax. We had an absolutely magical time and though we live out of the country we will make every effort to come back!

This is a great place for a couple or a small family to have a beachside stay right next to Umina beach and a short walk to the bustling array of shops and cafes on West street. The heating/ air conditioning was perfect heating for a wintry stay. Deb was delightful and the little garden is gorgeous and completely private

We really enjoyed our stay. Our family of four adults were going to a wedding in the area. The property was peaceful, had all the amenities we needed, and was in close proximity to the wedding venue. Craig was a responsive host. The instructions to get into the place were clear. A great stay we'd recommend to our best friends.

Our family of 9 adults and 2 littlies stayed at Ahara house for a long weekend getaway! Was like a wellness retreat! Sauna & plunge pool were well used! Beautiful area to walk in, playground close by for toddler….Ineka gave plenty of great recommendations for walks & eating spots! Living area perfect for family gatherings & board games played into the wee morning hours!! We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

We absolutely love this place. It is such a beautiful house with the most amazing view. The walk to palm beach or whale beach is quick and a good cardio workout. It’s perfectly set up for a large group of people and great for kids. Can’t fault it - 10/10 ☺️

Stayed 3 days and 2 nights. This is where myself and my bridal team prepared for my wedding day. Such a beautiful place and stunning views which made for some amazing pictures, despite the rain. Very happy with our experience.

Well designed space with thoughtful details. Tranquil outlook to a manicured private garden, making this home feel far larger than it is. Full kitchen with great amenities, ideal for cooking meals at "home". Quiet and offers a real sense of privacy even though it is on the owner's property. Well located; 2 mins drive to Mona Vale shops, supermarkets and cafes. Gorgeous walking trails nearby. We'd love to return next time we visit the Northern beaches.

Imagine waking up to the birds singing then having a cup of coffee on the balcony, watching sunrise over the quiet bay with a breathtaking view. Heaven!! photos on the ads really don't do its justice. The house was fully equipped. Functional kitchen with all the appliances to cook up a storm, all sort of seasonings, cookwares to use. Even with my chef background who often got frustrated in most airbnb's kitchens, i couldn't fault this one. Extremely clean, tidy with a tasteful decor, a tranquil view similar to that of a well kept resort villa in Bali or Thailand. Drive way to the garage was pretty steep but nothing a good driver couldn't handle. The garage was a bit short for our car (will fit a compact car), so we parked in front of it, there was also street parking. The host, Anna, is lovely and even kindly offering early check-in and late checkout without us even asking. This was the best airbnb house we have stayed in NSW. 5+stars and definitely will book again in a heartbeat.

Danielle’s place as amazing - so spacious and had such a nice outdoor area. We enjoyed spending time with family here and also loved the location! The house was clean and comfortable! Danielle was a fantastic communicator - would definitely recommend this place for other groups!!!
