This tiny cabin is surrounded by trees, trees and more trees! Soak in the claw foot tub while gazing out at a redwood forest. The bottom floor of the cabin has a small sleeper sofa, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker (not a full kitchen). The bed is in a loft space on the second floor up a steep ladder and there is efficient heating. The fire pit can be used in low fire season only. *please note we also have a glamping space in near proximity. Dog on property, please be pet friendly.

Beautiful little home in a beautiful location. It was close enough to Mendocino to enjoy the village but far enough away to feel secluded and peaceful. It's close to some nice beaches. The kitchen is well-stocked and I enjoyed cooking meals in it. The house of clean and well-appointed with everything you need.

Nika's place, the Artist Studio was well equipped, clean and warm as outside temps dipped into the lower 30's. Great outside shower accessible from the inside bathroom, so it didn't fell like going outside at all. We had a great time. We were three which worked out well.

The interior of Sarah's house was spacious and nicely decorated with a an artful, relaxed, comfortable decor. The mattresses were some of the most comfortable we each had ever slept on, and the bedding was also quite wonderful. The natural vista from the living room was quite special.

Bret and Phil were excellent hosts that had thought of everything a guest would need for a great getaway. The beautiful “Treehouse” is modern and charming with every amenity provided, to make it feel like a home away from home. Nestled amongst the Redwoods, the backyard is private and beautiful. The deck has plenty of comfortable chairs and is the perfect spot for wildlife viewing! The kitchen is well appointed and stocked. Fantastic coffee selection and barista style syrup station- What more could one ask for?! But wait, there’s more! We loved the hot tub and fire pit. We did indulge in some late evening s’mores. Close to the shops in Mendo and within a 20 min drive to multiple locations like the Skunk Train, Botanical Garden and Glass Beach. Overall, I’d score them a 10 out of 5!! Can’t wait to return someday.

Jacob’s cabin was exactly as listed. Accurate description of amenities and clear instructions on how to get to the cabin. It’s a small space, but it has just what you need for a short stay. Service was spotty but internet was always fast and reliable. The furnace they provided kept the cabin warm. The mini fridge and microwave were nice additions. I wasn’t a fan of the outdoor shower (a personal preference honestly) but my boyfriend enjoyed it. The shower felt private enough, and there was no shortage of hot water. However keep in mind there is no light at the shower late at night - we came in late one night past 11pm and it was very dark, so we had to use a flashlight. Another night we showered closer to 9pm and there was a light on near the floor - so perhaps they turn off the light past a certain time? But I recommend bringing a flashlight just in case. Also there are no blackout shades (just regular ones) so if you’re sensitive to the light I recommend an eye mask!

The cabin was beautiful and super updated. There were usb plugins in many of the outlets and there were accessible dimmable lights throughout, but the skylights made it so we hardly had to turn on lights at all during the day. Bring DVDs or a usb streaming stick if you are going to sleep in the loft, the TV up there is not smart but there is a DVD player and usb hookups for streaming devices. The hosts were communicative and had great resources to enjoy the house and the area. The property is beautiful, in the redwoods and isolated nicely. We loved our stay, thank you!
