Beachfront holiday rentals in Whitewater Region

This cottage was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some down time as a family! The cottage was clean, well equipped and located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Everything we needed was provided and more! We enjoyed playing soccer on the large sandy beach, swimming, fishing, board games, campfires and watching movies in the evening. The kids and parents loved it!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Very private, quiet and serene location, I felt right at home and relaxed as soon as I walked in. Pictures and descriptions were completely accurate and the online guide-book a real help. Unfortunately for me, it rained my entire stay, so I was not able to enjoy the outdoor features, but the inside was incredibly comfy, cozy and welcoming. I look forward to coming back and catching some sun!

Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! It’s always more comfortable staying in an Airbnb vs a hotel and Yvonne and Rob’s place was the most comfortable my family has ever been. For the 5 of us plus dog, a 2 night stay in a desirable location, we just wish we could have stayed longer. All the amenities you can think of and then some - including items for the beach which was right out front ! When AirBnB indicated it was a rare find - it really was a rare find and I suggest not waiting to book when you find it available. We will be back !

I had a fabulous time staying at The Nellie. Surrounded by the entrancing Gatineau River, The Nellie is an ideal place for those looking for a secluded escape. The Gatineau River essentially creates an archipelago, with countless islands to photograph and explore. Lac-Sainte-Marie is accessible by canoe or kayak, though I would recommend bringing a physical map and compass to avoid getting lost. The Nellie is a perfect option for those who want a unique, rustic experience. Keep in mind, there's no electricity or running water, so plan your meals accordingly. Extremely charming nonetheless. If you are less comfortable with a canoe/kayak I would recommend staying at The Dragon. Transportation to either location is available. I didn't meet Bonnie or Jaques, but I did meet Andrew! He was respectful and punctual, very communicative and easy-going. He's a really solid dude. I will plan my next trip to The Nellie in the near future. I already miss it!

Amazing stay! Everything you needed was provided for your stay. The place was perfect and the river was a nice bonus with kayaks to enjoy a paddle. We would book again.

Had a wonderful weekend at the lodge, can’t wait to go back! Cindy thought of every little thing, all the extra little details were perfect and so thoughtful.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The stunning views are even better than the pictures. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor activities, with canoeing and local attractions being the highlights for us. Hosts Cindy and Mike were extremely helpful, offering excellent recommendations and exceeding our expectations. The place had a welcoming vibe. Highly recommended—a hidden gem.

Mike and Cindy were great hosts! They are very friendly, and good people. We loved the themed cabins. Everything in our cabin is picked for the “yellow canoe” theme. I love these types of thoughtful touches. They offered great suggestions for our activities. There are a lot of things to do in the area including complimentary kayaks, canoes, bicycles, firewood, etc. We enjoyed walking by their farms and interacting with their chickens. Their family welcomed us with open hearts. We will go back!

Angela's place is great for a group getaway, she was helpful and easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The view of the water is absolutely stunning, and having such easy access made it perfect for relaxing and enjoying water activities. The place was peaceful, clean, and just as described. The only small thing we missed was a washer and dryer—especially after spending time on the water, it would’ve been helpful to dry our clothes. Still, overall a great experience and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a scenic getaway!

Есть камин , можно насладиться прекрасной атмосферой. Внутри нас ждал сюрприз много вкусняшек и видов кофе и чая. Отдых был сказочным. Дженифер невероятно приятная и отзывчивая.Планируем сюда вернуться опять.

My second time staying at this Airbnb! Sandy and her husband are very friendly and the communication was always great! Sandy’s place is very spacious and we absolutely loved being right on the Ottawa River, the suite is very close to a few restaurants (we had dinner at THE POINT was very yummy) nearby although Kanata is only 30 minutes away will definitely come again. Thanks, Sandy.☺️

Beautiful family stay! We brought two toddlers who loved hanging out on the dock, hanging out on the swing and eating on the picnic table on nice days. The DVD collection was awesome as well! No issue with hot spotting for anything else. One thing to note is the (gorgeous) glass table and winding staircase require a bit of extra supervision with young ones. Total paradise for young families or small groups :)

Our family had a wonderful time at Amy and Kevin’s place. The beach is great for children and the place was very spacious and extremely clean. I would highly recommend this cottage. Thanks again Amy and Kevin!

Gopinath has a beautiful home on the Ottawa River, just on the outskirts of home. Home is Beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. Will definitely keep this on the radar for future visits to town.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! Lots of private space and gorgeous views. The water was nice and Sandy, not weedy or rocky - perfect. Kim always responded super quickly and made all the instructions super clear. We were celebrating a birthday and they left some bday cupcakes and a sweet note along with it - lovely touch. Would recommend 10/10

The cottage was very nice. The grounds are flat and beautiful. Great location. Everything was perfect for my family of 6.
