Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Whitewater Region

The lake house was a lovely stay. First of all, the lakefront is beautiful and I enjoyed dangling my feet in the water and watching the sunset from the fire pit. The space inside was immaculate, comfortable, well-designed, and spacious. I let Andrea know the WiFi router had an issue, and within minutes she was on the phone with the company resolving the issue for me. I definitely recommend this home and would gladly stay here again.

Wonderful accommodations. Exactly as listed, perfect for group gathering, easy to get to, had everything we needed for a great weekend! The Rooftop terrace and the fiirepit were 2 of my favorite things about this place. We had 2 of the best campfires I've ever had, there wasn't a bug, mosquito or blackfly in sight! Would stay again for sure!

Jane and Lori were amazing hosts and the property was beautiful! It had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to beach chairs and sports equipment! The area is very secluded in nature and it was very quiet and peaceful! The house was also very clean and comfy!

Angela's place is great for a group getaway, she was helpful and easy to communicate with.

This was the quiet, relaxing trip we needed. Such a beautiful little home, in such a serene and peaceful setting... Exactly as described and listed. They were also so nice, polite, and welcoming. We ended up at their restaurant for lunch one day as well, and it was such a lovely time.

We were a masters xc ski team in for some races and the House and Host were amazing. The house was cozy; they had the fire going for our arrival and the kitchen was set up to cook for our large group. The host was very attentive to help us get to where we needed to go during the snow storm, digging us out every day. The house had a wonderful character about it and made us all feel comfortably at home. We will rent this place again for our next trip/race to the area.

The girls had a wonderful stay at the North Sky Retreat. Julie was very helpful and her house was just perfect for four people to stay, each with their own bedroom. The house was exceptionally well stocked with supplies, linen, towels and those extras you may need. Julie accommodated the dog that accompanied on this trip as well. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the free range chickens were fun to watch. The grounds were lovely and the walking path was a perfect was to take in the nature around the house. Hopefully this stay will become a tradition! Thank you!

I recently stayed at this cozy Airbnb for 2 nights and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I booked, the host Tony was incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Any questions I had were answered promptly, and he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for my stay. The place itself was just as described — warm, inviting, and spotless. The fully equipped kitchen had everything I needed, which made it so convenient to prepare meals. One of my favorite parts was the excellent patio area. It was the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy the fresh air, and make use of the BBQ — such a relaxing way to spend the evenings. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful getaway. I’ll definitely be visiting again in the future!

Beautiful private location with all you need for a relaxing stay! Great location if you are catching a local show or touring the Ottawa Valley.

What a lovely space. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Sofabed was topped with a memory foam topper and was so comfortable. Each room had a fireplace giving the whole unit such a cozy feel. Sarah reached out ahead to provide details on arrival and knowing the we were there to see friends for St Patrick’s Day had decorated the unit. She also provided a welcome basket with snacks and a binder with information on the area. Will stay again the next time we’re in Douglas.

Michel’s place was really beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. It had everything you need and more! We spent a week with our dog enjoying the perfect location and space. From hot tub to the pellet stove to the arcade game, this truly has everything you need to relax and enjoy. From pre check in to check out, Michel was an outstanding host who was always responsive and helpful. He is so kind and warm always willing to help if we needed anything at all. Truly a superb host! We really would love to come back someday.

This was our second stay at Kim and Scott's and we loved it again. Very private and peaceful cottage, right on the water. We brought out paddleboards and paddled the entire lake. Super cute place for two people.

Amazing property with beautiful trails and routes to explore. It was great to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature and ourselves. Our dog, 12, absolutely adored the big deck and the pond/creek with the ducks as well as his adventures throughout the day. We're already planning our visit back :)

Katherine and William offered us a perfect stay at their cottage on the rapids! They were extremely accommodating and allowed us a little extra time for check out after missing a day to unplanned circumstances. Finding the place was seamless- and we checked in to a super clean place, with a sweet handwritten note and gift for us on the kitchen table :-) The water was very fast at the time of our trip so we had difficulties with the boats and did not get to paddle, so just keep that in mind at the time of booking. Fishing isn’t super great off the dock so we had to travel around to calmer areas of the river for that, but there are many. When they say there are many bugs, they mean it! Cover yourself in bug spray before you leave to help with the swarms. The cabin has a great protective curtain between the bedroom which prevents bugs from getting in. They have plenty of supplies and come by to provide extra if you request it! Overall 10/10 experience and would stay again :-)

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful cottage to celebrate our anniversary. We live about an hour and a half drive from this place and it was very easy to find. Although our stay was short, it was so special. The beach is shared with other cottages but it was not being used by others during our stay which was nice. There’s a few fire pits for use too on the beach with wood provided by the host which was so lovely. We didn’t swim bc it was too cold but there were also a ton of water toys to use such as kayaks and paddle boards. The cottage itself is completely private and so so so charming. The place was so clean and had a ton of amenities you really don’t have to bring anything other than your own food. My husband and I agreed we must return in the future!!!

This was our third time staying at the Dream Cabin and each time is better than the last. Roman and Irina are the ideal hosts with their quick response times, easy check-in instructions, lovely hospitality and overall friendly people who never hesitate to answer questions or assist in any way. It’s truly a place of paradise and we will be revisiting for many more years to come. Thanks Roman and Irina!!

A very cute log cabin with a beautiful waterfront on a huge property. Super private, quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the cooking utensils I needed. The bed was comfy. My dog enjoyed all the greenery.

This is a cabin my partner and I revisit. It’s the perfect forest escape with everything you need. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a camping vibe with somewhere cozy to sleep! The BBQ is a huge plus. Thank you for having us once again Jess!

Absolutely Incredible Stay! Our stay at Susan's cabin was, without a doubt, our best Airbnb experience in Canada so far and ranks right up there as one of our top staycations ever! It was the perfect long weekend getaway to completely reset and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The green landscapes, calm, peaceful atmosphere was truly refreshing. Susan herself was an exceptional host. Her warm welcome immediately made us feel at home, and she went above and beyond by taking the time to tour us around and patiently answer all of our questions. The delicious, home-baked muffins and farm-fresh eggs waiting for us upon arrival were such a thoughtful and delightful touch! Thank you, Susan, for opening up this beautiful cabin on your property and sharing this wonderful experience with us. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil and rejuvenating escape. We hope to be back again soon!
