Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Winneshiek County

Great place to stay if you have a small family or two small family’s. Host was very responsive and attended to any details swiftly. We had a slight problem with the actual internet company. But the mother in law came by and was nothing but nice and trying to help us get it working. Unfortunately we didn’t get it working but got to see the before and after pictures of the entire project which was mazing and hearing the story . 10/10 would recommend.

Secluded quiet rental just outside of town in the country. Nice linens on the bed and towels in bathroom, great windows for watching birds eat from her feeders. Very peaceful!

The Winnishiek House was gorgeous inside and out! We have never stayed at an Airbnb that was so well stocked! Betsy and John thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and homey. We had 5 adults, but our grandchildren would not have lacked for anything if they had been with us! Everything was within walking distance, and the bike trails were easy to access. We will definitely be back, and would highly recommend the Winnishiek House!

This home was perfect for a relaxing girls weekend! Everything was so well stocked- from the toilet paper and towels to the bottled waters in the fridge and extra linens. It was nice to be able to pull into the spacious garage and eat together at the kitchen counter and table. It took 15 minutes or less to drive to all the attractions and activities we wanted to do. All the sleeping arrangements worked great and everyone reported them to be comfortable.

This was a very nice home to stay in with ample space! We loved it. We did not take advantage of the beautiful outdoor porch but can see hanging out there another time. I loved how close it was to Trout Run Trail. Without a question, I would recommend this sweet place. The host was super friendly and available. Charming place!

We have stayed at Dustin’s Airbnb multiple times and have always had a great experience. It’s consistently clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood. We will be back again next year!

The home was exactly what we needed to accommodate two family groups with bedrooms and bathrooms for both. The open kitchen, living room, dining room area was perfect for joint meals. The pretty view of the golf course, and fireplace made this a great spot to visit or relax. The kitchen had a wide variety of pans and cooking equipment for coffee, snacks or meals.

This was one of the best Airbnb's we've ever stayed in! So thoughtfully decorated with lots of homey touches...was the perfect place for a girls weekend getaway!

Tammy made us feel right at home. The place was clean, quiet, and just what we were looking for. She was always quick to respond and we loved all of the animals around the property. We would definitely stay again!

I will definitely stay here again, Andy is ver freindly and helpful. It is a rare to find a nice place off the beaten path like this one.

A million dollar view for a great price! We enjoyed our overnight stay so much-especially the fire pit/gazebo area for a relaxing evening.

What a wonderful little place! We loved every bit of it from all the over-the-top amenities to the adorable , creative decorating touches! We had fun looking at all artistic detail in every room!! This is very close to the beginning of the Root River bike trails and very close to restaurants and shopping. Would love to come again and stay longer!

Norma Jean & Daryl are welcoming, kind hosts with an absolutely beautiful property! They were attentive to our safety as there was winter weather and helpful at every turn. My friend & I were celebrating a milestone birthday and had a perfect stay at their place.

Apartment matches the photos and was as described. Great location with easy access to great outdoors activities, food options and a quaint downtown just a few blocks away.

Words cannot describe how much I loved I staying here. I stayed here for the weekend of my birthday. The place is exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and hot tub. Carrie was such a caring and sweet host. She made sure that our needs were met. I would definitely come back :)

Serene, scenic, and so comfortable! We loved our stay at Trout Creek Cabin, and hope to stay again sometime. On this trip, we managed to dodge some rain for a bike trip in Lanesboro one day, and a hike up to the lookout another day. Otherwise, we indulged in the view, took naps, read books, played games, had long meaningful chats, and realized in the hot tub. We couldn't dictate the weather, but we could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

This was a relaxing stay with a beautiful cabin along the river. It was way from commotion, with the fun sand bottom swimming area for kids plus fishing in the river or canoeing down the river.

Great little cabin. You do get all of your money worth; from the moment you walk in, you have all you need. Place is well maintained and all the little gadgets you need when cooking away from home. There is a business next door to the patio off of the cabin and unfortunately, we could hear them working most of the day. If the patio would have had one more section of fence, it would have felt much more “private” But, I am overall satisfied and would rent from this family again!!

Cozy cabin, with a skylight in the loft to Stargaze! Beautiful area out in nature, including a pond. Paula was very friendly & accommodating. She provided alot of little extras to use on the cabin. A nice place to stay to unplug & relax!

This is my third time staying at this property, first time at the Overlook cabin. Traci and her husband are excellent hosts! The cabin is one of the nicest air bnbs I have ever stayed in. Beautifully crafted, excellent views of the valley. Our group enjoyed fly fishing the local streams and hiking. This place is truly a gem. Highly recommend. Will be visiting again soon.

We had such a great time at Leslie’s cabin! The location was beautiful, and the cabin itself was cozy, well-equipped, and very comfortable. We spent a lot of time outdoors and had so much fun exploring the nearby town. One of the highlights was seeing the beautiful trouts and other wildlife on and around the campground. It was the perfect little getaway—would definitely recommend!
