Beautiful place! Great view of the lake and quiet location driving distance to Acadia.

The location of the house was perfect for our visit to Acadia. It was very quiet and serene with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and the fire pit at night. We highly recommended this hidden little gem.

Brian’s AirBnb is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The keypad check in is simple. The home is spotless. There are plenty of linens and kitchenware. The home is close to Acadia and downtown Ellsworth. If you want a short drive to Acadia and MDI, this is your place!

Lauren was a wonderful host! We had an amazing stay at her cottage. It was less than a 10 min drive from her place to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia. Lauren was attentive and fair when handling any issues we ran into during the stay. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful house in a beautiful location! Beth was wonderful to deal with and very communicative. She kept in touch with us prior to our trip, and she patiently answered any questions we had during the trip. The views from the patio and living room are fantastic, and the area is very quiet. Both the Park and Bar Harbor are a short drive a way. This is a great place to stay on a trip to Bar Harbor.

What a beautiful house in a lovely setting! The historic details with modern kitchen and baths made this a perfect home base for exploring this lesser known part of the Maine coast. Proximity to Schoodic Peninsula (part of Acadia National Park) allowed for great hiking and incredible views. Some great restaurants are close by. We particularly liked the Tree House in Winter Harbor and the “Pickled Wrinkle” in Birch Harbor. The house is clean, comfortable and well equipped. We especially loved the backyard fire pit. Having dogs in tow, we REALLY appreciated the fenced yard. Views of the sunset from the front yard were just stunning. We will definitely be back!

We loved the farmhouse's cozy charm. It felt like we had stepped back in time without sacrificing the modern amenities we think we need. With the old floors, the well-stocked kitchen and bookshelves, the antique dining table, the house gave us both character and comfort. Mark was a great host and provided plenty of information on local activities for our family. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will treasure the memories we made.

Me and my friends loved this BNB!! The hot tub was amazing and the pool was an awesome addition. Instructions were clear and even called to walk me through everything. Plenty of places to sleep and loads of places to go!

Adorable cottage, newly renovated. Perfect for two with an open space loft for one more. Kitchen is well stocked right down to the coffee. A good location if visiting Fort Knox, Mt. Barrie and not too far from Bar Harbor if that is on your list. Great stay, highly recommend. Beautiful view and private.

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

The cabin was extremely clean and felt like a home away from home. My husband and I highly recommend staying at Wild Acadia. It is an easy drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!

Aaron's apartment was the perfect place for our group of four - clean, comfortable and in a great location. It had everything we needed, beds were super comfortable, access to the Inn was nice for breakfast and post-hike relaxation in late afternoons. Aaron was a very responsive host. We plan to stay here again next time we come to Bar Harbor.

We enjoyed our stay at Ashleys's home. It is a beautiful, peaceful and lovely location, with great proximity to Acadia National Park, Winter Harbor and the Schoodic Institute. Our family enjoyed watching the lobster boats in the morning and noodling around the peninsula. It was a very comfortable space, with a well stocked kitchen and dining area.

My family loved this house. The setting was beautiful, and it had tons to keep my kids entertained (kayaks, fishing poles, indoor and outdoor games). There was also ample coffee (always a plus!) and staples for cooking. We spent a lot of time at Acadia, but rearranged some afternoons to spend more time at the house because my kids enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay! They had everything we needed in the kitchen to make dinners for 6 people and plenty of space for us to all sit together and eat. We really enjoyed the fire pit and the beautiful views. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean and nice. We hope to come back soon!

Amazing stay at Lupine Cabin, would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a rustic vacation but still want amenities. We stayed 2 nights and went kayaking and made a bonfire. Bathrooms were extremely clean, as well as all the linens. We were also able to check in early due to the rain and Eddie was extremely helpful. Out too dogs also loved the cabin. Planning on coming back soon.

The only suggestions I have to improve upon our stay would be additional solar lighting, fairy/xmas light type might work, in the loft and having the perimeter lighting around the fire pit being angled downward a bit. However, neither of these are going to deter another visit! The cabin and surroundings are absolutely magical and lovely. I wish everyone would set up a hand/dishwashing station like Sienna has — everything is there! I loved it! The firewood is priced reasonably and we only needed one bag during our stay. Kindling is provided! Found a few chunks of fatwood and fallen birch bark around our site that worked well, though. My friend and I loved this spot, truly. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!!!

This is such a special place! The cabin is beautifully designed and the views are wonderful! David left perfect instructions as to how to live “off grid” and is quick with responses if needed. So much to explore durning any season- from mountains to coast! Hope to return- maybe during blueberry season!!

Really cool little house in a great location for exploring Acadia NP/Blue Hill/Deer Isle region. The house is small, but it’s set up to really use the space wisely. It’s really nicely decorated also. Had everything we needed. Union River Bay is just down the road where you can watch the seals frolicking. Had a great stay! Ice cream store is only a 2 minute walk. Bonus!!
