Trailer on the farm

Our lovingly converted construction trailer is in an idyllic location on our farm near the horses. It is green and blooming all around this small, cozy place and at the same time you are right in the hustle and bustle of a farm. You will find peace and nature, but you will be in Winterthur in 15 minutes. There are 2 shared toilets, but no shower. The construction trailer is equipped with a cozy 1.40 x 2 m bed and seating, as well as heating and drinks.

Please note that the cats are free to go in and out of the house all the time . But they need to be fed 2 times per day . just a 2-minute walk from the train station. Zürich in 25 minutes Winterthur in just 16 minutes ideal for commuters or day trips.

The interior design is trendy and mostly made of wood, fabric or leather. There is an underground parking space available. There is a charging station for the e-bike.

We are a family who runs the farm ourselves and look forward to welcoming guests in our specially furnished guest room. A dog and cats as well as a few chickens currently live on our farm. We are also constantly thinking about acquiring more animals. There are numerous dirt roads for hikes. The Thur and the Rhine are within reach and beautiful bike tours can be made. We are happy to help with planning activities.

The room and the whole house are executed with building biological materials. Clay walls, wall and ceiling heaters form pleasant climate. The house is located in a quiet location near the bus and train lines into the city. By bus we reach the center in 7 min.. We can also organize a bike if needed. In Winterthur, everything is easily accessible by bike. Around the house there is a wild garden with fire pit.

We have a beautiful studio apartment with a private entrance on the ground floor of our country home. If you are looking for rest and a base for your European travels or if you are traveling with your family, we are your stop. This studio functions well for 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children on a comfortable pull out bed. The pool is a private pool in our garden and is shared with our family.

Farmhouse near Winterthur and Frauenfeld

My Airbnb is near forests in the middle of the village at the countryside. But still really near the next big citys - Frauenfeld and Winterthur. Easy traveling with bus & train, station near 100m of the airbnb. With a 10 to 20 minutes walk, you are at the next "Weiher" (ponder, sea). A pleasant stay for couples, solo adventures, business trips and families (with children).

This is the former "Büezerhaus" (workers' house) of the last Swiss nail factory next door. It's over 140 years old, has some wrinkles, but our friends and guests love it. We have no neighbors, it is the only house in the commercial zone. On foot you are in 2 minutes at the S-Bahn station, by bike in 5 minutes in the old town.
