The 18 meter long, open entertainment area includes a large dining room table, slow combustion fire and huge open fireplace. Constructed from local hardwood timber, the house is imbued with a distinctive Australian aesthetic and the walls are decorated with botanical eucalyptus drawings. Spend summer evenings on the expansive veranda, taking in panoramic vistas and breathtaking sunsets and when the cooler weather arrives, unwind with a glass of wine and enjoy the rustic appeal of a roaring open fire. If you are keen for adventure, take an exhilarating wilderness walk or kayaking adventure on the Tooloom river. Pack a picnic hamper, fishing rods and sunglasses and head for the river, where you can cast a lure and wait for a bass to strike. The architecturally designed homestead is perfect for large families or groups, with its wrap around veranda and spacious, travertine ensuites, adjoining every room. For biosecurity reasons, we ask that you leave your pets at home, but feel free to encounter the many cattle, horses, Pretty Faced Wallabies, occasional shy koalas and platypus that call this landscape their home. Historical 1930's cabin. Once the home of the resident cheese maker. Restored to suit the style of the time. Situated on a cattle property in the picturesque McPherson Ranges. Has a fishing dam closeby. Sits below Mt. Edinburgh Castle. The property is part of the ancient Gondwana rain forest. From Woodenbong, take Glennie Street, becomes Boomi Creek Road, keep on the sealed road at the Brumby Creek turn. Travel a further approx 6km. Our place is not suited to young children. A Simpler Place in Time

Restored 90 year old farm building separate from house overlooking the McPherson Ranges and Mount Barney on a 17 acre farm block with animals. Great place to stay if you are walking Mt Barney, Mt May or Mt Maroon - 40 mins drive north. The cottage can accommodate 3 people using a queen bed and a trundle bed (extra $15/night). The cottage runs on solar power (off the grid); gas cooktop; gas hot water; septic toilet; tank water and wood heater. Dean's shed is overflowing with stories and harness.
