Apartment holiday rentals in Wrangell

I've stayed at Joy's AirBnB twice now while traveling for work. The unit is spotless and the beds/furniture are comfortable. It is stocked with everything you could need, and Joy is a thoughtful and friendly host that is always responsive to messages. I've always felt safe coming and going into the unit, even late at night. I will stay here every time it's available when I travel to Wrangell. Great BnB and a better host.

It's lovely, spacious and I'll recommend it to others. Already have, actually. The beds are very comfortable & it's a clean, restful place with everything you need. I used to live in Petersburg and the ambience of the area is perfect Southeast - refreshed a lot of good memories and made a bunch more. JOY is a dream to work with. Very responsive, very pleasant. I texted a question or two in middle of the night not at all expecting a reply until the morning, and wow, she responded right away. Above and beyond. :-) If this sounds gushy, it is. I really enjoyed this place. Thank you, Joy!

Beautiful, well appointed space. Was quiet and private even with another guest staying in a different room (only saw her in passing). Clean bathrooms, well appointed kitchen, and beautifully walkable to everything in town!

Leroy and Tanya’s cabin is such a great place to stay on the island! It is a very quiet and peaceful location, and the cabin is top notch. The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely stay again!

I gave Amber 5 stars on communication because there aren't more...she was a GREAT communicator and on top of everything. Real professional and extremely nice, helpful and friendly. She made our stay better. We felt like we had a friend in town. Place was great too. Killer views and a roomy place. We loved it.

This is my second stay at Blue Heron. I love it there. The deck, the view, the comfort and kitchen perfectly suit my needs. The staff is friendly and helpful. I sleep so well there. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic place and hosts. They were very helpful and answered many questions and gave great advice about the island. I recommend it to anyone.

I know this may come off as trite or exaggerated but believe me when I say this is hand's down the very best AirBnB experience I've had in the US. Alaska is home for me & I travel all over the state for business. I am accustomed to AK standards for "lovely accommodations" & I am telling you now Amanda (who always responded promptly) & her property far surpass even Anchorage's Hotel Captain Cook. When I booked her pet friendly home I must admit I was a little bit wary expecting there to be a lingering odor of poo or, even worse, urine but such was not the case. Everything in the kitchen is where you'd expect it to be. The setting was a perfect 15min distance from downtown with a small but quality grocery store along the way. The nearby beach is sandy (rare treat in AK) & Ward Lake is nearby offering a wonderfully relaxing stroll as well as giant fireplaces beneath pavilions which allow for enjoyable gatherings in spite of classic Southeast AK Weather. I will definitely return!

Such a comfortable place to stay in a GREAT location. Quiet yet easily walkable to restaurants, stores, bars and attractions. The bed was comfy and we had all we needed for our 5 day stay. We’re looking forward to a return trip and stay!

This place is awesome!!!! So clean, modern and comfortable! Fully stocked with all that you need! Far enough from town to escape the cruise ship madness but close enough to grab dinner in town! Would absolutely stay here again!

The host was excellent, polite, informative, and attentive to any request. The location is right on the water and gives a wonderful view both in the evening and early morning. I would definitely book here again and would recommend this location to any coworker that comes to Prince of Wales.
