Holiday rentals with beach access in Xagħra

Fantastic stay at this wonderfully spacious Apartement with views to die for. We loved basing ourselves in Xlendi having stayed in Victoria & Valletta on a previous trip. The photos show the front of the flat, balcony and views but we were surprised how big the rest of it was including 3 bedrooms (1 en-suite plus 1 family bathroom). Parking in public car park or up the road was fine all week except Sunday afternoon when everyone visits for seafood lunch and it’s busy. Lovely local walks to the fort, salt pans and nuns bathing pool on foot. Easy to walk down to the water and swim from the rocks. Lots of locals and tourists on holiday in May, so busy but quieter when the daytrippers/ quad bike convoys finished for the day. You won’t regret staying here but a hire car is important to make the most of what Gozo has to offer.

Great little apartment in a gorgeous village, with incredible restaurants nearby (the Boathouse was a favourite). Absolutely loved our time there and would return in an instant. [A few things to note to set expectations - you have to climb two flights of stairs in a tight, spiral staircase which might not work well for those with mobility issues or travelling with large items. Also, the airconditioner is coin operated so make sure you have €1 coins handy. Lastly, you will need to supply your own soap and other basic toiletries - there is a small mini-mart in town if you need to buy them.]

Wow! Such a beautiful apartment. Comfy beds, great kitchen & one of the most beautiful views you could ask for. The local area is just lovely with great restaurants & many spots to have a cooling dip in the sea. This is one of the best of the best & cant recommend it highly enough. Bravo!

We stayed with Denise for the second time and felt right at home. The apartment had three bedrooms, so enough space to have up to 6 people. The location is ideal if you’re diving with one of the scuba diving centers in Marsalforn. It’s super close to the bay, with many restaurants and shops nearby. The beach (small but nice) is 1 min away. You have a lovely view of the ocean from the balcony.

It' s like we found a little paradise here in Xlendi Bay... we felt immediately at home, enjoying breakfast on the terrace every morning and being treated with a stunning view & beautiful sunsets... the apartment is perfectly equipped and feels peaceful. Fabiano is a very kind host, who wants his guests to feel good - easy & nice communication! Xlendi Bay is perfectly located to explore the island to go snorkling, diving & swimming; there are many restaurants & the beautiful lighted-path next to the sea makes it even more special... Fabulous apartment in a great location with an amazing view of the waterfront. This is a lovely area to stay, especially if you like swimming and water sports. The apartment was spotless and one of the best Airbnb’s for having everything you need. Many thoughtful little extras like beach towels/mats and breakfast items. Lina was extremely responsive and friendly to communicate with. I would highly recommend this apartment and area of Gozo.

We had a great time in this house. Much nicer live than in the photos for us, it was a surprise. Our little girl had plenty of room to play and had so much fun. Highly recommended

A beautiful modern apartment with lovely views of the harbour. The check in instructions were very clear and the host was responsive throughout the stay and gave some good recommendations. The only drawbacks were the small bathroom and the entrance corridor into the flat seems to not be 100% completed yet. In all, a great place that we'd love to go to again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Matthew & Elaine’s town house with our 11 month old daughter. Communication was friendly and fast and when we missed a baby chair Elaine came to bring it to us right away. It should be noted that there is a lot of construction going on, at both sides of the house, but it’s not on a all day every day basis so it didn’t bother us too much. The walk to the beach is beautiful and it’s also easy to walk to the town square with some bars. If you have a rental car the whole island is easily accessible. Last of all we really appreciated the ‘welcome package’ with some fresh produce. Thanks!

David’s place is really a gem. It is in the middle of interesting area. The place is great, spotless and private. We recommend and would come back if we are in Malta.

Beautiful located willa, clean with much space. We stayed 6 night, it was wery nice. I fully recommend this place.

This was the most unique and best Airbnb our family has stayed in! The views were incredible and we spent so many hours on the terrace and balcony watching the boats in the harbor. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and highly recommend this place! Anne and Frances were amazing hosts who made the experience easy.

The house has an amazing atmosphere, especially the terrace, windows and swimming pool. The center looks better than in the pictures. The host was flexible about check-in and check-out times, which was a huge plus.

We had an amazing few days at Maria’s place in Gozo. The building itself is beautiful with 3 large bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The location is only about 20 yards from St George’s Square which is perfect for restaurants/bars/cafes. Maria was super helpful with her instructions and was always responsive with any questions we had. We would 100% stay here again in the future!

We felt very comfortable at Edward's. Although the house is in the center of Sliema, the apartment is very quiet. You can easily explore the island on foot or by bus from here, and you can reach the rocky beach or the modern shopping mall in 10 minutes. The cool courtyard makes the apartment something special, a very pleasant place to end the day or to eat and relax together. The host was always very friendly and accommodating. We will be happy to come back.

Lewis was amazing, considerate and attentive. Communication was immaculate and super supportive he’s the best Airbnb host I have had, the place was just as amazing as the apartment itself, definitely worth the price and much more.

We stayed in four properties during our trip to Malta & Gozo. This was by far the most professional and communicative host with the highest standard. The property has been cleverly thought through- from potato peelers and cheese graters to deckchairs- they are excellent quality. You are made to feel that you are valued and the host has not provided you with cheap utensils. The finish overall was amazing. It was well stocked with everything- indoor and pool towels. The tv is easy to use- we got Amazon Prime working easily. The pool is gorgeous and very peaceful. We felt safe as a family of four and found getting places using Bolt no problem.

We appreciated the use of a washer but we only needed to use the dryer once as there was a clothes rack available and with the hot weather in Gozo the clothes dried in a half day in the house on the rack. Also there were some cooking supplies available and other supplies stocked when we came which made it so much easier when we walked in the door that we didnt have to rush out to buy shopping right away after a long flight. We had a couple of little repairs that had to be done such as plugs for kitchen sink and told Clayton we replaced us and he immediately refunded us the cost which was very nice of him.

Matthew was very friendly and responsive anytime I had questions. The apartment was super clean when I arrived and exactly as described. I appreciated the info pack he sent me—it was very helpful, with everything from restaurants to attractions to bus and taxi info. Thank you Matthew!

We loves the setting of the apartment and the balcony was the biggest plus overlooking the sea views. We enjoyed waking sitting having tea and coffee to start the day. The bed was comfortable and all the amenities we needed were available in the apartment. The air con in the bedroom was a god send. Such a great find in a great location.

I really recommend Rosa's apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean. Rosa is very helpful and communicative. Check-in and check-out were flexible.
