Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Yadkin County

What a wonderful home and town! Highly recommend to anyone that wants to spend time in the foothills and enjoys either hiking or relaxing. And also- Susan was the perfect hostess!

Omegia greeted us when we came and was immediately responsive to our questions during our stay. She left a bottle of wine and cheese for us and donuts for breakfast. We did have problems with our front door lock and the TV had no signal while we were there. It is, however, a lovely, peaceful neighborhood close to downtown Elkin and Omegia is a friendly attentive host. We enjoyed our visit.

This house is a true gem. We loved how private the lot was and especially loved the fire pit on those chilly nights. Kimberly is super responsive and so accommodating! Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back!

This is a cute little farmhouse on a quiet lane. Very peaceful. We never heard a thing outside the entire time we were there. It’s an older home but updated and decorated very cute. Perfect location to stay if visiting Elkin, Stone Mountain State Park, or the many wineries in the area. The host replied instantly when we had a question. Good people.

Stayed here while visiting my parents from Chattanooga! I grew up right around the corner and remember always passing this place on the school bus. I’ve always wanted to stay here! It was everything I hoped it would be!

My sister and I met up for a weekend and this was the perfect place to stay! The walk into town was about a mile, but a beautiful neighborhood to walk through. It was clean and comfortable (I didn’t mind sleeping on the lower full bunk bed).

This is our second stay at this Airbnb and our third overall. Hannah is quick to reply to any messages and has been fabulous every time we've stayed. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area or want a peaceful weekend away. The grounds are lovely to walk around. Sitting on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee, listening to the rain falling, woodpeckers tapping on trees, and nature actively running around. Even got to watch a bird bring either food or more nesting materials and enter the small birdhouse sitting on the deck. A fantastic weekend. Thank you, Hannah, for letting us stay at your place again. We will be back, sooner than you think :)

Beautiful and comfy house… so well appointed and terrific location. Owner was extremely kind and attentive.

Justin’s place was great for our trip to NC for a soccer tournament. It is in a great location with plenty of shops but still quiet. We had plenty of space to stretch out and had everything we needed to cook meals. We’d stay here again if we come back to the area!

Dan was an excellent host who made you feel welcomed. I would recommend to anyone to check out this place. You won’t regret it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Whistle Stop apartment during a trip to North Carolina , and I couldn’t have chosen a more charming place to stay. From the moment I walked in, I felt wrapped in warmth and thoughtfulness. The space is beautifully restored with a perfect blend of historic character and modern comforts. The Egyptian cotton sheets, cozy living area, and full kitchen made it feel like home—only better. The location was ideal, with easy access to coffee shops, hiking, and small-town delights. I spent peaceful mornings on the front porch with a cup of coffee, soaking in the quiet charm of the neighborhood. It’s a true gem for anyone seeking rest, beauty, and a little adventure. We were not able to stay on our dates as our daughter woke up extremely sick. I called Randy and he was willing to move the dates for a future date. I really appreciate him working with us and was unfortunate we had to cancel the morning of. We look forward to staying there soon.

This place perfectly fit our needs. It was beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and well-appointed with games, extra charging cables, a fan, extra toiletries, and coffee/creamer. We settled right in and went to the pool for an evening swim. The host provided pool towels which was very nice. The host was quick to answer any of our questions. This was one of the nicest Airbnb places we've stayed. Thanks so much!

It's been wonderful staying here when visiting Pilot Mountain & Hanging Rock State Parks. The spa is not to be missed. Jaime's place is outstanding! We have been here twice now and looking forward to our next trip back.
