Kikori Guesthouse is a 270-year-old renovated old private house in the mountains of Chigata-cho, Tottori Prefecture.The village where our inn is located is selected as a preservation area of traditional buildings in Tottori Prefecture, and it is a tourist spot in Chigucho where you can enjoy the original scenery of the mountain villages of the early Showa period. The main house of the inn is estimated to have been built about 270 years ago (in the middle of the Edo period), and it retains the atmosphere of an old private house in 1960, such as dirt walls, shoji, and a tin roof. In early summer, fresh greenery is beautiful, and it is a cool summer retreat in the middle of summer, and in autumn it is also a famous place to discover autumn leaves.Please come to a hidden place that feels like a step back in time to the old world. The guest house has 3 rooms, but this room will be a Japanese-style room for a dormitory (up to 3 people). From December onwards, it is the season when snow begins to fall, and studless tires are essential for cars.The living room has a wood-burning stove and a kotatsu, but the only heating in the bedroom is an electric heater.Please take precautions against the cold before going to Yukiguni.

Opened in spring 2023, this 300-year-old guest house is both old and new. It is conveniently located 5 minutes by car from Nishi Awakura Interchange and 10 minutes on foot from Awakura Onsen Station. You can stay in the main house [Osaji no Yado Doyashiki] at the end of the large gate. In winter, there is a possibility of snow, so we look forward to reservations from people who are well equipped for the cold and have tires on their cars, and who can enjoy the experience of shoveling snow during sudden heavy snowfalls. (Please refer to the photos of snowfall. We rent snow shovels, but it takes a while to get the car out.) No meals are provided. There is a large kitchen, so please use it. BBQs and campfires are also available near the parking lot facing the river. You can try cooking rice in a kettle if you wish. Please contact us. The bedroom is a Japanese-style room, so it is not a bed but a futon. We will prepare for the number of guests, so please lay them out yourself when you need them.
