Atmospheric red cabin

Atmospheric red cottage in the village of Rautiosaari by the river 16km from Rovaniemi city center. Your own car is necessary. Parking space is easy to find in front of the cottage. Car heating is also possible. From your own yard you can go directly to the river for outdoor activities and ice fishing. For the youngest in the family, there is a sledding hill (2 sleds) and the Rautiosaari ski trail starts 300m away. Linens and towels are included. The host is nearby, if you have any questions or problems, you can contact them by phone.

Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a nice log cabin from 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a barbecue hut and a sauna terrace. After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. Barbecue hut at your disposal (about 50 meters from the cottage). Dry toilet, which is accessed through a canopy. Refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker and microwave. No hot plate. Sijaitsee noin tunnin ajomatkan päässä Rovaniemen lentokentältä luonnonkauniissa pienessä kylässä. Huskysafareita talvella vain parin minuutin päässä. This traditional Lappish log cabin is located at lake Norvajärvi with direct access to lake in both winter and summer time. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km out from Rovaniemi city and driving time is apprx 30min. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and water for washing in sauna is taken from the lake.
