Iwadiyama's Showa Retro Hiraya - Urako Road House-

This is the first private lodging facility in Iwadeyama area. It is a Japanese traditional wooden Heike that has a history of 55 years. The bath, washroom, toilet, and kitchen area are remodeled at the end of 2023. There are 3 bedrooms and 6 sets of futons, so it is recommended for families and groups. There is an air conditioner in the 3 rooms between the LDK, the double Japanese-style room and the board. Parking There is free parking on the premises.(Up to three vehicles) [Surrounding environment] It is an 8-minute walk from JR Iwadeyama Station, an 8-minute walk to a nearby convenience store, and good access throughout the town. In addition, the Iwadeyama area itself is a 30-minute drive to Naruko Onsen and an hour's drive to Sendai, so it is also a good location for sightseeing. Halcoya Hanare is a separate building from Halcoya, and is an owner-less, entire home rental. This is a small, newly built house that can accommodate up to 3 people. * Please note that Halcoya Hanare does not currently have WiFi.

Kakunodate guest house Choux

It is a dormitory type guest house using a trailer house. About 3 hours on the Akita Shinkansen from Tokyo, 6 minutes on foot from Kakunodate Station. There is also parking. No meals are provided, but a communal kitchen and lounge are provided as public space. There is a supermarket, convenience store, restaurants and etc. within walking distance. We have shower room, but you can go to the nearby hot spring facilities. There is free WI-FI and rental e-bikes are being prepared in green season.

Share Village Machimura

This is an old thatched house built in 143 years ago. The family that has lived in the house for generations has protected it, but it was planned to be demolished because of the financial issues in 2014. In order to preserve the original landscape of the satoyama for the next generation, we revitalize the house as a membership guest house. However, the activities were stopped due to the pandemic. In June 2024 we reopened the house as a private accommodation place (rental vacation house).

Chokai", Hokodate gate: 25min by car. "Moto-taki", water fall: to the parking 10min by car. "Shishigahana wet lant", "Nakajimadai": to the parking 15min by car. "Tamasudare falls": 50min by car. "Moriko Omonoimi Shrine" 40min by car. There are a few hot-spring facility around here.
