Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Youghiogheny River

This house was great! They had so many games and activities to use while we were there; we didn’t have enough time to do everything we wanted to do. The trains across the river are very loud, to no control of the host, just prepare yourselves for that. They run all night and all day. Some of our group liked them though. It was also very clean, which is always a great plus!

This house was rented for my son’s groomsmen the days around his wedding in the area. They had a wonderful comfortable stay with everything they needed , plenty of beds and a private location that was close enough to the venue and surrounding area to make the stay very memorable.

We stayed at Julie’s place for a few days while visiting relatives. It was easy to find and pictures were accurate. Location is out of town a little but still a quick drive to stores and restaurants. The location was so pretty and peaceful. Julie was proactive about letting us know that the WiFi might be out when we arrived. However it was fixed by the time we checked in. We also had a couple other questions and she responded very quickly. I’d definitely recommend this rental to anyone who might be in the Latrobe area. Thanks again for being a great host.

Had a nice time at the US open which we were here for and enjoyed the view from the unit and felt safe !! Instructions were great thankfully as downtown Pittsburgh is confusing - appreciate that. Security desk attendant was friendly too and we liked that it was attached to the Marriott hotel lobby as well!

We had a great time staying at Breanna's place in Export, PA. She made us feel at home with the welcome card and pastries/cookies. It was well furished, clean, and had everything we needed for the weekend. It was very convinent to downtown Pittsburgh and for our day at Oakmont Golf Ciurse for the US Open. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Victoria’s Trailside retreat was so well designed that we felt right at home. We cooked several meals, enjoyed Roku Amazon Prime at night and rode the Boston Trail 3 times for a total of over 30 miles during the daytime hours. The place was precious. Proximity to Pittsburgh and Mill run was wonderful. We also drive into the countryside, fresh vegetables, and the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen is amazing. You won’t regret staying here.

This was my second time staying at Erik’s and we were not disappointed! His home has become my friend’s and my new favorite place to visit! Thank you, Erik!

This place was perfect for us, and everything we needed in the kitchen and the bathroom. A perfect area to work in, nice area to relax in and very comfortable bed. Let’s stay here again and recommend this place to all

I’m not exaggerating when I say this – I truly loved the home. It had all the amenities I could need, was very clean, and smelled fresh the moment I walked in. Olivia was a great host and communicated with me quickly and clearly. From the fair pricing to the quality of the home and the amazing hospitality, everything was perfect. Mariam’s place was a perfectly fine solution to our having too many guests and not enough room during a graduation. It was nearby and just the right size. Our guests did find the accommodations spare, with just enough towels, lacking a hairdryer etc that normally would have been expected. Note that it is described as a first floor level location, which it is, but there are stairs UP to the hill to the first floor do to being on a hillside, so first floor not ground level.

Joyce was so welcoming and the apartment was fabulous! Loved the bird feeder, the private view, and also how personable Joyce & John are. The view over the mountains from their yard is gorgeous, and they invite guests to walk trails on the property. The apartment had everything I needed and was beautifully designed and decorated. I brought all of my food and found everything I needed to cook—great pans, extra staples like oil, spices and sugar. The whole reason I went was to hike in Cooper’s Rock State Forest, and Joyce told me about a little known trail that is not in the main part of the park—it turned out to be my favorite trail. I highly recommend staying at Cooper’s Retreat!!

Great clean spacious apartment. Immediate area is not the nicest to walk around. But it is a great location to drive to Pittsburg or get on major roadways!

I wish there was an extra star for the Host! Lorena was super helpful, always responded less than 30 minutes, and made us feel welcome into her home. Personal touches say a lot, and she had written us a nice thank you card that was on the table when we arrived. It was also nice that we did not have to run out and get toiletries immediately as they were readily available upon our arrival. Lorena was also upfront with an issue involving the oven, however there was a toaster oven readily available if we so choose. I highly recommend her condo to anyone with a small group of people/small family that plans on staying in the Deep Creek area!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin for our après-ski weekend this year! The location was perfect—easy to find and ski and ski out. The cabin itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities were great, from the fully stocked kitchen to the cozy living room and hot tub, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day on the mountain. Parking was a breeze, and check-in was seamless. We would absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!

Great stay at Stephanie's place. when we arrived it was everything expected from pictures, reviews, and her proactive commmunication. Place was clean, walking distance to everything downtown and easy access. Nothing going on at PPG Arena this trip but this is the place to stay for hockey or concerts... right across the street. We would definitely stay there again.
