Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Yucca Valley

Such a gorgeous stay. Exactly as advertised. Had a lovely, relaxing visit. If the summer is the off season, then it must be perfection in the winter. Enjoyed watching the sun go down from the pool, then hopping over to the hot tub to star gaze. Property inside and out is exquisite and our hosts were great. The hummingbirds and Jack rabbits were added bonuses.

This is my second time staying at the Hi Desert House and it’s a total dream. Everything you need for a true getaway, nothing you don’t, thoughtful design touches everywhere you look. Jenna and Michael have created something beautiful here.

Really stunning house, the inside is immaculate and so well done. Loved the outside space, truly stunning. Nice being so way out. Though there are houses around so not completely private. Also we lost power for about 5 hours the first day, had to find a neighbour so see if it was just us or the neighbourhood but apparently can happen anytime. Just something to be aware of as it happened again on second night. But house and everything included is fantastic, highly recommend.

Amazing stay with Heather! This place is gorgeous and peaceful. We had a calm 2 weeks just enjoying the desert and nearby activities. Heather made it all so easy for us.

This was one of the best vacations! The property is in a great location with breathtaking views! We saw a lot of cute animals and overall were enjoying the calm and private atmosphere. The house itself is truly amazing! Everything is clean, modern, and extremely aesthetic. Loved our stay and definitely would want to come back there. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time! Enjoyed the peaceful setting - beautiful views of the desert and mountain landscape, quiet and remote, awesome for sunrise, sunset, and stargazing. The home offered wonderful amenities, from the wraparound porch to the hammock to the front-yard bocce court to the attached outdoor shower to the local coffee beans provided... Thoughtful touches all around from a communicative and gracious host. Loved our trip, def would come back again.

My partner and I have stayed at over 100 Airbnbs across the globe and this is by far our new favorite property. Expectations were high from the listing and we were not disappointed. This property is even more beautiful than the photos - it's the best designed home we've ever been in - everything in it feels deliberate. Every room is as unique and enjoyable as the next. You will be blown away by the backyard/patio. The home has everything you could possibly need - don't make the mistake we did getting supplies pre trip - they literally have everything you could possibly need from a cooking perspective (including a proper espresso maker + legit coffee beans), entertainment, pool floaties, etc. The host is incredibly communicative and accommodating. Will 100% be back here on a regular basis.

Great house inside and out, a little hard to get to since we have a two wheel drive. Appliances could use an update, otherwise the interiors are beautiful and modern. Would love to stay again!

Josh and Dons place was exactly as the pictures appeared. It was the cleanest and one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at through Airbnb! You will not be disappointed. I appreciated their house manual as well and the food recommendation for the Joshua hookah lounge did not disappoint! We enjoyed the proximity to Joshua tree national park and the quiet atmosphere around the property. Truly a place to relax and disconnect from all the other distractions of life.

We came to hike, off-road, and reset—and ended up connecting on a whole other level. The stars were unreal, the silence was golden, and the space held us in all the right ways. Every detail felt thoughtful and grounding. We left clearer, lighter, and already dreaming about coming back.

We needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, and this house was the just the answer. Quiet, private, and our dog Luna loved the yard.

Kurt’s cabin is lovely — an amazing hideaway that feels very private, with amazing views of Joshua Tree. At the same time, it’s super conveniently located and whatever you might need - groceries, restaurants, sightseeing - is in driving distance. Kurt is an attentive, friendly, and helpful host. I would have communicated with him more, but everything about my stay was so smooth I didn’t need to! I will definitely be back again. A great place to stay when visiting Joshua Tree.
