There are daily necessities, so I recommend it for those who want to experience Sapporo life. It is a little inconvenient, a 10-minute walk from JR Shinkawa Station, and a 20-minute walk from Kitajo Station on the Namboku Line, but there are few car streets, so you can spend a quiet time. Tobetsu-cho is the only area where you can experience the nature and rural life of Hokkaido, about 40 minutes by train from Sapporo. In addition, in the town where samurai settled, the god of samurai is enshrined in Tobetsu Shrine. The local shops are also attractive, and there are interesting shops such as Gibier specialty shops and taverns where you can interact with cats. I recommend guests to stay for more than a week to experience local life in Dobetsu. If you stay for a long time, you can learn more about Dobetsu-machi. In the summer, you can enjoy the nature of Hokkaido if you run for 15 minutes by bicycle.
