Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Abruzzo

The accommodation was perfect, great location, close to walks, activities, historic sites and shops. There is a lakeside bar a short walk away. Views from the house looking out to Lake Scanno and the mountains are spectacular! Great hosts, very responsive. We stayed in Francesco's apartment from Thursday to Sunday and we had a great time! The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need, like staying at home! Monticchio is ten minutes from L'Aquila and half anhour from Fonte Cerreto, from which the cable car to Gran Sasso starts. The Gran Sasso is beautiful and, if you like nature, trekking, cycling or horseback riding, the location of the house is optimal to reach the natural attractions of the area. We had a great stay at Lamberto’s! Amazing place, everything was there and even more. Amazing views from the terrace. Real close to hikes and L’aquila and Gran Sasso (Corte Grande and Monte L’aquila). In real life the place is even nicer. Lamberto is quick with communciation ans recommendations!

Since I had a wedding in Pescara, I decided to indulge in some relaxation among the olive trees of Silvi... The house is beautiful and clean, in a relaxing and quiet area! Brunella and Gaetano were kind and helpful hosts, they gave me tips on where to get the best brunch, the nearest beaches and the most interesting places to see in the surrounding area. The hammock overlooking the sea was my favorite part of the house!!

We had a wonderful Easter vacation with the family (me, my wife and our two children aged 2 and 8). The newly renovated apartment is cozy, warm and smells of wood. Equipped with all comforts, with equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds, it immediately made us feel at home. The garden is spacious and well-kept, perfect for relaxing while the kids play. The family dog, polite and very sweet, kept our kids company for hours: they had a lot of fun playing ball together! A special mention goes to Stefano and Stefania, the owners: kind, helpful and always attentive, they welcomed us with warmth and hospitality. It's rare to find such an authentic place, where you really feel like family. An unforgettable Easter. Highly recommended for those looking for tranquility, nature and an honest welcome.

Casa Candida is set in a fabulous landscape. I have always wanted to visit this part of Abruzzo and this was the accommodation of my dreams. Its features quickly made it "home". It was our starting point for unforgettable excursions for a week. Nearby, 15/20 minutes by car, the Piana del Voltigno, with free horses, the shepherd Pasquale, a dream environment and landscape. And then off you go, every day a different destination: Campo Imperatore, Rocca Calascio, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Bominaco, Navelli, the Tirino river, the Gole de Sagittario and Scanno, L'Aquila, the Sanctuary of Ienca, and finally Amatrice. So many cars, but also so many steps with beauty before your eyes. And in the darkness and silence of the evening/night, go out for the last walk with the dog and see the signs of the passage of the flocks. These places have been a holiday for us, in search of a beauty that is not easy, that must be earned. Thank you Nadia, thank you Casa Candida.

Well-maintained and very cozy house. We had a very good time with the owner of the accommodation, very helpful and kind. I highly recommend if you want to live a relaxing and peaceful experience surrounded by greenery and excellent location as it is just a few minutes from the ski resorts.

Spacious, comfortable. Had screens on windows. Ivana was a wonderful host and was readily available. Felt like an Italian home, not a generic rental unit.

Ascoli and its surroundings are very beautiful. Compared to food, there is little alternative for those who do not eat meat. But we had taken this into account. The apartment is super nice and a stone's throw from the center.

Serena is very communicative and friendly. We had a wonderful stay. Perfectly located and so convenient to explore the area. Parking is right down the road and there is always plenty to find a spot!

Short stay in a beautiful and peaceful village in Abruzzo. The house contains everything you need and the garden with pool is very well laid out. The owners are lovely people who also own a restaurant in the center, which we recommend you try.

we stayed at Simonetta's house the week of Ferragosto. The accommodation is spacious, tastefully furnished and very well supplied with everything. The garden is lovely and very pleasant for dining. Nine friends who had not seen each other for years who were able to enjoy the little time together in a beautiful, comfortable space, equipped with all the comforts. The house is clean and tidy (to the point of having closets with shelves labeled with various accessories), we felt at home from the first moment. Francesca, the host, is kind and helpful. During our stay it snowed a lot and Francesca took care to know how we were and did everything to allow us to be calm and enjoy the magical place where we were. A beautiful experience.

Beautifully restored old farmhouse with excellent amenities. Great swimming pool set in attractively-lit landscaped garden. Ombretta responded very quickly to all messages and was very friendly, as was Luciano (the caretaker). The mountains provided both a beautiful setting and some great hiking trails a short distance from the house.

We recently stayed at Roberto's Airbnb with friends for a week and a half, and it was an incredible experience. Roberto is a fantastic host. He provided invaluable suggestions for a beautiful motorbike ride through the mountains, enhancing our trip with local insights we wouldn't have found on our own. During our stay, Roberto also replaced the chlorine in the pool, ensuring it was always in pristine condition for us to enjoy. His attentiveness and willingness to help were remarkable, and he was always available whenever we needed anything. The house itself is perfect for four couples and kids. It offers plenty of space and a fantastic pool area that became the focal point of our relaxation and fun. The layout and amenities are thoughtfully designed to cater to groups, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend renting this house, especially with Roberto as your host. His dedication to ensuring a perfect stay makes all the difference!

We were greeted on December 24 by a beautiful snowfall . The farmhouse in its splendor pampered us for an abnormal but one of the most beautiful in life. A sweet fireplace to listen to. And a snow to experience. Beautiful place and both Enrico xhe Biagio were always available . Definitely worth going back to in the spring !
