Monthly Rentals in Achwa River

We spent 1,5 weeks in this beautiful and perfectly equipped house in Gulu with family. It is even nicer than the pictures! Nice compound with a lovely garden, spacious rooms with good beds incl mosquito net, fully equipped kitchen and a cosy living room. We felt home from the first moment - as Esther the housekeeper is the loviest person, always availiable, friendly and helping with anything we needed. Small shop just opposite and 5min drive from town centre. We‘ll come back for sure, thank you again to everyone

I had a wonderful time with the family. The host was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I also had the opportunity to spend time with her and learned so much during our conversations. The children were friendly and respectful. I would definitely love to return and stay here again.

My home away from home. I live on a farm and having updated amenities like hot shower, refrigerator and gas stove are a comfort occasionally. A TV and Netflix is also fun.

The attention to detail is exceptional—from the fresh linens to the cute patio seating for a quiet morning coffee. The location is also a huge plus—easy to find, even for first-time visitors in Lira, and close enough to town while still providing a serene neighborhood. Brenda was a fantastic host—responsive, friendly, and respectful of privacy. Everything was spotless, well-organized, and exactly as pictured. Whether you're in town for business or a getaway, this space is perfect. I can’t wait to stay here again on my next visit!
