Rustic Retreat

Quiet, private, secluded home on 25 acres of forested land. The home was built from logs milled on site. Enjoy filtered spring water, natural light, stargazing, & views of the tops of Mount Baker and the Sisters on a clear day. Owls and Elk can be heard during the evening hours at certain times of the year. Heat is provided by a wood stove and 3 space heaters. Mount Baker is 1 hour away; Bellingham is 30 minutes. Well-behaved, house trained, and supervised pets are welcome with a per pet fee.

The treehouse sits in the centre of a Scottish Highland cattle farm, with pasture and forest in all directions. You'll be staying in our brand new tiny house with views of the eagle sanctuary and within walking distance to the North Fork Eagle preserve, including trails to the Nooksack River. We are 37 miles to the ski area and 20 miles to downtown Bellingham. Perfect for skiing, bald eagle viewing, hiking, biking, dining, and of course, relaxing. Enjoy your stay!
