Waterfront holiday rentals in Agios Nikolaos

The Penthouse apartment was just as described and as the pictures showed. Very modern and clean, and the host and his team were very responsive during the stay. Would definitely stay again, the location is perfect for walking to the beach, restaurants and mini markets, you have everything you need on your doorstep with no need to drive anywhere unless you want to. The only thing missing was mirror’s in the bedrooms for drying hair which would be a really helpful addition. There are mirrors in the bathrooms, but not really suitable for hair drying once the bathroom is all steamed up from a shower. That being said, it would not stop me from returning.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach und angenehm, für warme Tage gibt es in beiden Räumen eine Klimanlage. Die Küche hat theoretisch alles was man zum Kochen braucht, ein wenig mehr Töpfe oder eine weitere kleinere Pfanne würden vll nicht schaden - aber das ist meckern auf hohen Niveau. Bei den unfassbar guten, vielfältigen und verschiedenen Restaurants in der Nähe (fussläufig max 10 min) kann und soll man durchaus auch mal essen gehen. Die Taverne nebenan ist außerdem auch gute griechische Hausmannskost und sehr freundlich, sie brachten uns das Essen sogar in den Garten an den Tisch und wollten dafür nicht mal Trinkgeld 🙂 Die Umgebung spricht für sich! einfach nur wunderbar! Was man vll wissen sollte es sind 3 Apartments nebeneinander, wovon 2 an Urlauber vermietet werden und eines dauerhaft bewohnt ist. Das Pärchen was nebenan wohnt ist jedoch unglaublich freundlich, immer sehr hilfsbereit, auskunftfreudig und ruhig. Man ist komplett für sich und kann sich traumhaft erholen.

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

A truly fantastic place to stay. Exceptionally well stocked apartment with absolutely everything you would need for a long or short stay. Close to lots of restaurants, but well stocked kitchen if you prefer to cook. Beautiful terrace for dining, both undercover and outside. Host Viky is charming and friendly and could not be more helpful. We hope to return another time.

This is really a gorgeous apartment. Recently built, very high quality construction, beautiful contemporary style and detailing, nicely furnished and decorated. Location is right on the sea wall (I think our balcony was about 20 feet horizontally and 20' vertically from ocean water!). Stephani met us upon arrival and got us settled in. She also was great with advice on nearby restaurants and grocery stores. We really enjoyed our time there.

Nous avons passé un séjour mémorable à Kastri dans ce bel appartement avec une vue magnifique ! Les hôtes sont très accueillants et disponibles, le logement est parfait et le village très charmant et authentique. Nous vous recommandons vivement cet endroit !!

Wir hatten eine phantastische Zeit in Michails Wohnung. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind in der Nähe. Wir waren glücklich und zufrieden. Danke Michail!

Four days wasn't enough. It was a beautiful time very relaxing. Close to all the restaurants and night life and beach. If you have a rental car they tell you the best beaches to go to the online that not that far of drive. They are responsive and cater to all your needs

Super Unterkunft welche ich unbedingt empfehle. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Den Strand hatten wir sozusagen für uns. Eftychia war immer gut erreichbar, mega hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Als Willkommensgeschenk hat sie uns frisches Gemüse, Früchte und Wein bereitgestellt. Alles war perfekt.

The Wave House is perfectly situated to swim at the beach just in front of the apartment. Loved the sun beds and area in from of the Wave House so you have a space to relax and enjoy the water views.

Wir verbrachten wunderschöne und erholsame Ferien in Dimitris Appartement. Die Wohnung ist traumhaft schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit qualitativ hochstehenden Möbel und es fehlt wirklich an gar nichts. Die Terasse hat einen einzigartigen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer und wir haben viele schöne Stunden dort verbracht. Dimitris ist super freundlich, stets erreichbar und mit hilfreichen Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants usw. hat er uns sehr geholfen. Der Transfer vom Flughafen hat er uns auch organisiert und es hat bestens geklappt. Auch die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Supermarkt und Restaurants sind fussgängig gut erreichbar und die Busstation ist gleich auf der anderen Strassenseite. Wir können das Appartement wärmstens empfehlen, für uns das schönste bisher und wir werden gerne an die Zeit zurückdenken und bald mal wiederkommen.

Wir haben Ende Mai / Anfang Juni 2025 zwei wundervolle Wochen in dem Haus von Pinelopi verbracht. Es ist alles wie beschrieben! Die Terrasse ist einfach wunderbar und schön im Grünen sowie mit Meerblick. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist zentral und sehr, sehr ruhig. Pinelopi ist eine exzellente Gastgeberin! Wir wurden persönlich und herzlich empfangen. Es standen eine Flasche Olivenöl, Wein und Raki sowie ein ein Teller mit frischen Obst bereit. Darüber hinaus mehrere Flaschen Wasser. Besonders zu erwähnen ist die Sauberkeit. Pinelopi ist jederzeit ansprechbar, darüber hinaus gibt sie unzählige Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps. Fazit: Wir waren rundherum begeistert Nochmals vielen herzlichen Dank.

We loved our stay! The apartment is located just on top of the Taverna and about 15 meters from the beach. Within 5 minutes walk there is also a yoga location offering amazing drop in classes. From the moment we drove into the town we were warmly greeted by the lambros family. We spent the next 5 days at the beach and taverna relaxing. It was a great experience and we truly felt part of the local community for the short period we stayed. I highly recommend it if you want to relax and do less rather than more! The apartment is spacious and provides all you need for your stay, including a washing machine. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space to chill.

This was our favourite stay of the trip. The place is idyllic, with a private swimming area only a few steps away. The house is decorated tastefully and gives a really nice indoor-outdoor feeling with the large patio and sliding doors. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with everything you might need to cook, including well-sharpened knives! Manolis brought us some fresh vegetables from the farm, which were delicious. Everything about the place is thoughtful and we loved our stay there. It is ideal for a trip where you want to spend a lot of time relaxing at the house and hanging out, it is so nice we barely wanted to leave!

bonjour à tous et à toutes, vous hésitez à aller en Crète ? pour notre part c'était un des plus beaux voyages qu'on a pu réaliser. l'ambiance, l'atmosphère, la bienveillance du peuple crétois, tout était au rendez-vous. si vous cherchez un logement au calme loin des villes touristiques, ne cherchez plus vous avez trouvé le logement idéal, juste en face de la plage avec juste les locaux. nous avons choisi début septembre la température extérieure est de 33 degrés et 28 la nuit. lerapetra à 10 minutes de voiture est un village typique avec ses nombreux restaurants en bord de mer. on remercie énormément Maria pour sa réactivité et sa prestation irréprochable. encore un grand merci pour ce voyage magnifique.

Wat een heerlijke plek en wat een schitterend uitzicht over zee. Tot een uur of 15:00 volop zon (gunstig in de maand mei dat wij er waren) maar altijd plek op het terras in de schaduw met zowel ligstoelen als gewone stoelen met veel verschillende kussens. Daarna kun je op het kiezelstrand gaan zitten en ook daar kan je eventueel in de schaduw zitten. Het strand wordt nauwelijks door andere mensen gebruikt omdat het buiten de bebouwde kom ligt. Na het zwemmen kan je op je eigen parkeerplaats lekker buiten douchen. Het appartement ligt op de eerste etage en heeft een eigen opgang en overal horren (dus geen last van muggen). De weg hoor je wel maar wij hebben daar geen last van gehad. Wij hebben erg goed gegeten in Koutsouros (op advies van Irene) en in Makry Gialos. Irene is een heel prettige host en reageert snel. Helaas moesten we na 5 nachten weer verder want we hadden graag nog een aantal dagen willen blijven. Een echte aanrader. Zowel dit appartement als het zuidoosten van Kreta.

וואו! נסענו למסיבת רווקות 4 בנות והיה פשוט מדהים! ג׳ורג׳ עוד הרבה לפני הנסיעה דיבר איתי בווצאפ והיה זמין לכל השאלות שלי. הזמין לנו מונית מהשדה תעופה שהגיעה בדיוק בזמן והכל היה מאוד ברור דרך הווצאפ. גם בכניסה לנכס ג׳ורג׳ קיבל אותנו, לקח מזוודות ( עד לצ׳ק אין) ושמר עליהם בחדר מאובטח. הנכס מהמם ומתאים בדיוק,נעים,נקי,שכונה שקטה וממש ליד כל הכיף - מרחק הליכה של חמש דק בדיוק. קנה לנו קצת דברים לנשנש שחיכו לנו בחדר, היה תמיד זמין לשאלות והמלצות עבורנו ואפילו עשה לי ממש טובה ולקח אותי טרמפ למסאז שהזמין לי מראש באיזור. באמת שהיה פשוט מושלם. ממליצה ממש לכל מי שרוצה לנקות את הראש ולקבל שירות אמין ומקצועי מעל ומעבר.

Alexandra et Maria ont été des hôtes pleines de joie et de bonne humeur. Elles ont été a nos petits soins du début à la fin de notre séjour. Nous avons séjourné dans l’appartement 1. On a profité de la petite terrasse avec accès privatif à la mer tout les jours. L’appartement ,est très propre et il n’y manque rien. Il est à 10min à pied des restaurants et du centre ville loin du tumulte touristique. La place de parking dans la cour est un vrai plus. Nous y avons passé un super séjour d’une semaine. Merci Alexandra et Maria pour votre gentillesse !

Wunderschönes großzügiges Apartment mit tollem modernen Design und mit einem einzigartigen Meerblick vom Balkon (Meer nur ca. 20 Meter entfernt). Alles da, was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist extrem freundlich und immer erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Gegend gibt es viele gute Restaurants alle in Laufnähe. Der kostenlose Parkplatz am Meer war ebenfalls perfekt. Von dort benötigt man lediglich 5 Minuten zum Apartment. Die zwar schöne Bar in der Nähe der Schlafzimmer war immer gut besucht und dementsprechend war es dort schon laut bis in die Nacht. Es ist Geschmacksache, aber die Betten waren uns zu hart. Ansonsten absolut empfehlenswert! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und immer gemütlich auf dem Balkon gefrühstückt.

Amazing place. Very private and quiet. Location is also great, lots of restaurants, bars and coffee shops to walk to. If I have the chance will definitely come back. Recommend it!

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit chez Dafni qui est très accueillante. La petite terrasse privée avec vue mer pour le petit-déjeuner ou apéro est exceptionnelle ! La magnifique plage Voulisma est accessible à pieds depuis la chambre. Si le temps nous l’avais permis nous aurions passé plus de temps chez Dafni. On recommande vivement ce logement ! Merci pour tout !

An absolutely amazing spot in Agios Nikolaos! A spectacular balcony to relax on and take in the Mediterranean views. (Also came in handy to dry my clothes - drying rack provided - after using the washing machine.) Totally walkable to all bakeries, restaurants, shops and “the Lake.” A two minute walk from a larger grocery store which was clutch for grabbing food and some beer & wine for the balcony. A five minute walk to a local swimming dock & beach club. Emma & her mother were great hostesses! Her mother checked me into apartment and showed me all the ins & outs of the space. A complimentary bottle of wine & homemade raki greeted you in the perfect size kitchen. Even flowering vines fragrantly welcomed you home after dinner. Might be my favorite Airbnb of all time! Just a wonderful stay…and for an incredible price! Value at its best. Would live there if I could.

Die Unterkunft bot einen spektakulären Meerblick, der jeden Morgen zu einem besonderen Erlebnis machte. Die Wohnung war modern und äußerst sauber, was sofort für Wohlbefinden sorgte. Besonders beeindruckt war ich von der Hilfsbereitschaft des Besitzers. Auf meine Anfrage hin wurden die Handtücher prompt erneuert, und als ein unerwarteter Sandsturm aufkam, kümmerte er sich sofort um die Reinigung der Unterkunft. Die Lage war ideal, mit vielen Restaurants und Geschäften in der Nähe. Die Strände waren atemberaubend, und ich genoss es, im kristallklaren Wasser zu schwimmen. Die Go-Anbieter vor Ort waren äußerst hilfreich und gaben mir wertvolle Tipps, die meinen Aufenthalt bereicherten. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert, da sie fließend Englisch sprachen. Insgesamt war es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub, den ich jedem empfehlen kann.
