Clear and easy instructions to get to the apartment, and what to do when leaving the apartment. Proactive communication and responsive. The apartment is spacious and centrally located. I appreciated that it also had access to a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen was fully equipped.

A well-equipped and spotless residence, in a quiet place not far from the town of Akureyri. You will receive clear instructions to easily reach the place. We were only there for two nights, but everything is there to make it a longer pleasant stay.

The house was absolutely gorgeous with a very luxurious feel and all the amenities one could ever need. The host was very gracious and accommodating with excellent communications throughout the process. The house sits at the bottom of a beautiful snow mountain so the view is fabulous！

Even though the weather did not cooperate with our plans on this trip, having Soffia’s cozy apartment to come back to saved the day. This is one of the cleanest Air BNB’s we have ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the shower piping hot! There is a wonderful museum in Akureyri that has an amazing collection of maps and we loved Kaffi Ilmur for the delicious soups and pastries. Unfortunately we did not get to go whale watching because the weather was poor, but we can definitely recommend Baccala for the fish and chips! Soffia is an amazing host. She responded quickly to messages and was very, very thoughtful. We look forward to returning and cannot recommend Soffia’s cozy apartment enough.

Our stay was lovely! The host was very responsive, the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything we might need, and the location was walkable to downtown!

It is one of best places we have stayed. All perfect for us. Everything that you could possibly need was available.

We are family of 4. The house is very clean with amazing views. We have everything we need here. Bathroom is clean and warm. We cooked quite often and the kitchen utensils are of high quality. This is one of the top3 Air B&B we have ever stayed for the last 10years we travel around. Thank you Agusta for sharing this house .

Very nice house in a peaceful corner, lit up at night. The kitchen was very good and the bedrooms on the same floor as well, the sofa bed was very comfortable Has a washing machine and a very convenient dryer, all the necessary spices and condiments In addition, Margret was ready to change our arrival dates at her place due to bad weather and our uncertainty of arriving on the right day. The only small problem is the room which is in the basement, very humid Other than that we had a great time at Margret's place

Very nice place to stay for a few days.

Stayed here for (unfortunately only) one night with a group of six people. Lovely house, very clean and with everything you need. Enjoyed every second of it. Four people could sleep upstairs and two downstairs with two separate bathrooms. Two minutes walking distance from village centre, port and Hering museum. And a beautiful view over the city and the fjord. Big recommendation! :)

We adored Herdís’ little home in the heart of Siglufjörður! Photos are a great representation of the space. We were very comfortable there as a family of four for a few days. Everything was beautifully clean, the kitchen was very well equipped, beds were cozy, the grill was perfect for our dinner of lamb kebabs one night, blackout curtains in the bedrooms were excellent (definitely a necessity in June when the sun never sets!). Note that there aren't any blinds or curtains in the main rooms so it's a bit of a fishbowl at night, but no problem. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for a wonderful home away from home!

This was by far the best place we stayed during our visit to Iceland. The unit was nicely equipped from the kitchen to the linens. Location was walkable to dinner and local shopping. We were even able to walk to the docks for our whale watching excursion. Our only driving was to the Forest Lagoon hot springs (highly recommend them, we went twice)

This Airbnb in Akureyri was a great choice, as it was close to the centre and the interior was really nice (furnished with wooden mid-century furniture, which was a big plus for me). Helga, our host was very friendly and helpful, she recommended great restaurants, we tried one of them, and had a top notch experience.

Beautiful accommodation, in a quiet part of the beautiful city of Akureyri, with perfect privacy. Friendly, responsive hosts, ready to help when needed. Beautiful apartment, everything very clean, comfortable beds, enough space to just hang out on the sofa. You can get to the city quickly and it is surprisingly very quiet. I wouldn't have thought of it for such a large residential complex.

It is very difficult to get someone to offer you their own house for your stay, and for one night only. Andri and his family do it. It is unbelievable. As amazing is their beautiful home. Magnificent, beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It doesn't deserve 5 points out of 5, it deserves 10 out of 5. Pity that on a trip around Iceland you have to rush to see the sites and can't enjoy the house for a few hours awake, having a drink on the beautiful terrace. Extraordinary. More than recommended. We had an exceptional experience staying at Arna's apartment in Akureyri. The apartment was stylish, clean and perfect for our family trip with our son and his girlfriend. We used Akureyri as our base to explore much of the beautiful northern part of Iceland. We also enjoyed the downtown, the nearby Aviation Museum and the Forest Lagoon. Our experience echoes all of the other outstanding reviews from Arna's prior guests. This apartment is a gem.
