Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ål Municipality

This Airbnb was an absolute dream for our family! The place is incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to spread out and relax. We especially loved the nice surrounding views, which were a beautiful backdrop to our stay. Its proximity to the Hemsedal ski center. We also appreciated how groceries are nearby, making it easy to stock up on essentials. Our kids were thrilled with the designated place for kids, equipped with a lot of toys – it kept them entertained for hours! The jacuzzi was a fantastic bonus, perfect for unwinding after a day of travel. Beyond the fantastic amenities, the host was really responsive, making communication a breeze. We were particularly impressed that most of the stuff was provided, including all the kitchen utensils, which made cooking and dining effortless. We highly recommend this Airbnb for families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable long stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. We can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our vacation during Christmas very much! The owners had decorated it very cozily for Christmas with even a real fresh Christmas tree and a bag with accessories so our kids could set up the tree. super nice!! Really a great house with all the comforts . Beautiful views. Quiet. Very nice, friendly people. Highly recommended! We definitely hope to be able to go here again!!! We had a nice stay at the small, cozy hut. Close to many Hills with a nice View from the bed. The kitchen hast everything you would need and there ist enough space for up to 4 people.

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place, beautiful nature. In the house everything you need for a pleasant stay is available.

This place has its interesting family history, love the interior decor a lot, especially the kitchen. But the best part is the garden. We were lucky that it was sunny and we spend the whole morning having breakfast and just chilling. Great starting point for hikes/walks and a great stop on the way from/to Oslo. Kristin met us when we arrived and she was very nice. Much recommended 👍

Great home and location

Great place in a great town.

There were 6 of us here on a ski vacation. The apartment is within walking distance to the ski resort and is very well maintained. Thomas showed us around when we arrived. Very good beds, and the kitchen has what you need! Really enjoyed and can definitely recommend staying at Thomas's place. The apartment has everything you need for stalls, bathrooms and parking space even if you are 6 adults with ski equipment and luggage. It should also be mentioned that there are soon opportunities for ski-in/out from the apartment when the facility is completed.

very good location and birthe's is nice host.always responsing if needed and helpfull. we came from denmark by drive and came late night .we easily could able ro get access in the apartment, big space for common areas and big kitchen in common area. super market kiqi is just oposite of the house and it was easier to find out our groceries . around location and tourist apot is awesome . ii stayed 5 night with my kids and family. i recommend birthe's place is super for visitors.

We felt very comfortable in this apartment. It is well equipped and the view over the ski slopes into the valley is unique. The location right on the ski slope is hard to beat and the garage is perfect for storing the skis.

Perfectly planned apartment with everything needed for a family during a week stay. Tasteful decor, fresh and well-equipped. Good parking outside the house, easy to take the ski bus to Hemsedal Skisenter (but short of buses back to Ulsåk before 4 pm). Nice premises in the main building, which we didn't use much. Nice bakery with pizzeria next door. Great cross-country skiing arena, Gravset, only a few kilometers away - many and varied trails in the forest and around the lakes next door.
