Bathing area can also be found close to the cabin. Car road all the way to the cabin during summer time. In winter time it is about 3 km from parking to the cabin. Mountain view is 1110 m above sea level and is a beautiful log cabin/staff cage at Haugastøl, with a stunning panorama view over Ustevann and Hardangervidda National Park. Hallingkarvet is seen to the north. Here's the sun from early morning to late night. The cabin has Rallarvegen and magical Hardangervidda as the closest neighbor. There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset to the east, and Hardanger to the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can take advantage of the countless trails and trails in the area

High and low climbing park is only 300m away, and about 500m away is Strandafjorden swimming area! Ål ski center is 8 km and to Geilo only 23 km. Hemsedal ski center is 56 km from the cabin. Hardangervidda about 35 km. On the mountains around, you can pick and choose from amazing ski slopes in winter and walking paths in the summer! The activity opportunities are just as good both winter and summer!

Skiing, dog-sleighing, rafting, bicycling, horse-back riding, bowling and hiking. The hut is on the doorstep of Hardangervidda National Park. Personalized interior. Accessible by car during summer, and winter on a snow-ploughed private road. 4x4 recommended during winter. Bed linen and towels included!
