Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Alajuela Province

Nice large house with everything you need. Great spot for all the things in La Fortuna. Would book again!

We absolutely fell in LOVE with the charming town of Monteverde and Jarvey and Flors place was the perfect location to rest our tired bodies!!!!! We loved the adventurous road leading to the house and the quiet peace and tranquility that awaited us! We arrived to find a basket of goodies including fresh pineapple and banana, chips, cold water, fresh local bread, cheese, and jam, and champagne! Jarvey was so kind and responsive and checked in on us personally a couple of times! We exchanged a lovely hug upon departure and I'll be forever grateful for their kindness and hospitality! The house itself is immaculate and cozy and the hot tub and patio couldn't be any more peaceful and beautiful! The views were amazing and the birds and flowers and bumblebees were the perfect addition to the serenity. The wifi may be a bit spotty, but we actually enjoyed that part! We cozied up in fluffy blankets on the couch and totally enjoyed our stay! Thanks again Jarvey and Flor!!!!!

We loved our stay in La fortuna! Excellent location. We loved that it was peaceful, the house was so beautiful. Daniel & Andres were responsive and they helped us book some of our excursions. It was my mom’s birthday and they helped me arrange a private chef with mariachis to surprise my mother. We had an excellent time and we already can’t wait to go back to visit again. I can’t thank you enough for everything! 💜

Marlen was a great host! she was always responsive and quick. when we arrived she took us on a tour of the property. The place was nice and peaceful. we even got greeted by the neighbors puppy!

Great place! Just like the photos. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities. The shower water was cold but I have gotten used to that in travelling that not every place has the warmest shower water but definitely not a big deal! Everything else worked great, love the private big gate to make the property feel tucked away and private. You can hear running water in the creek or river that's down below which is lovely to listen to. We didn't get a chance to walk down. I love C.R. and plan to be back and would 100% stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay! Jose was incredibly friendly and made our trip even more memorable with a fun, kid-friendly, professional horseback riding tour of his farm—it was definitely a highlight of the trip! The kids absolutely loved spending time in the pool and hot tub! Highly recommend this spot for families looking for a relaxing and welcoming getaway!

It truly is a little slice of heaven! Pictures don’t come close to doing it justice! We stayed 3 nights. It was easy to get to and close to the La Fortuna area. We can’t recommend pie in the sky enough! From check in to checkout it was wonderful!

Great stay- while it was rainy during our stay it was a great place to be at since we could walk right across the parking lot to get to the sloth tours! Super great location- also very close to the chocolate tour we did (6 mins away!) and loved the hot tub

El departamento es privado con una gran cocina y sala de estar, también cuenta con dos habitaciones, cada una con una cama king muy cómoda y perfecta para descansar. Se sintió como estar en casa lo que más nos gustó fue la zona de la piscina y el jacuzzi privados, es un lugar perfecto para descansar y relajarse cerca de todas las atracciones de la zona al igual que muy buenos restaurantes lo recomiendo a cualquiera que visite la zona de la Fortuna

We loved Casa Paraiso! The house is exactly as it looks in pictures with plenty of space and all that you need to be comfortable. The yard was beautiful and well maintained. We loved swimming, watching the birds, and looking for sloths. The ones on property never came down while we were there but we saw lots of them at Mundo de Perezosos right down the street! Javier, the gardener, was very friendly and showed us the different fruits and toucans in the yard. He also cut down coconuts for us and answered my husband and kiddos’ many questions! We felt safe and enjoyed the location. It was close enough to everything but also not right in the middle of town! A few other recommendations nearby are Don Olivo chocolate tour, the Pure Trek Canyoning (amazing!), and check out some of Juan’s food recs. Pura Vida!

Great place, location and team was very helpful. The house was well stocked and the mini-pool was a nice feature. We didn't have a car and restaurants and mini-markets were very walkable and convenient. I would definitely stay again.

Wow, where do we even begin! We were absolutely blown away by how responsive and attentive Daniel and his team were. They truly went above and beyond to make our first visit to Costa Rica an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their recommendations were spot on—from activities to dining, everything exceeded our expectations. Their home was beautiful and in a perfect location, which made it easy to explore and relax at the same time. We also really appreciated the wide range of services they offered, which made everything run so smoothly and stress-free. A special shoutout to our tour guide, Adrian, who was incredible knowledgeable and made the entire experience both enjoyable and memorable. Adrian struck the perfect balance—friendly and personable, yet always professional. We couldn't have asked for a better guide! We can’t thank Daniel and his team enough. Highly recommended! Beautiful place! We could not have been happier with this cabin. Only thing I would say is make sure you turn right leaving here, because the road is difficult going the other way. It was very clean, safe, and a gorgeous location.

Hands down the best place to stay in La Fortuna. David was very responsive and got me checked in right when I arrived. The cabin is GORGEOUS. It feels like it’s in the middle of the rain forest. The inside of the cabin was the cleanest Airbnb I may have ever stayed at. Truly spotless and didn’t have bugs which I have found to be impossible in Costa Rica. The bed was so comfortable and the view from the kitchen made me so happy in the morning. It even has a little patio area underneath the cabin. Wish I could have stayed longer!! I’d recommend staying here over staying at a fancy hotel. You feel immersed in Costa Rican nature while still feeling very comfortable. Honestly this place felt like a nice hotel but way better. It’s worth it.

I loved all the amenities, my girlfriend loved spotting local birds. The place was beatiful and peaceful.

We can’t thank Jonathon enough!!!! He was incredibly helpful. Very responsive. He helped arrange a few different excursions while we were in La Fontana and they were amazing. He also gave us some recommendations for restaurants which was extremely helpful because there are so many choices it was hard to know which ones were good and Soda restaurants (in Costa Rica means local authentic places) were they best !!! I highly recommend this place it’s secluded for privacy but close enough to go for a 10 walk and be right in the thick of everything. I would give him 10 stars if it were possible. 😀

My wife and I chose this unit for our honeymoon, the space was extremely beautiful and lush. The giant windows opening up into the La fortuna jungle was breathtaking. We spent every evening in the jacuzzi listening to the wildlife and sounds of La fortuna. Fernando had great recommendations and was very friendly. We’re looking forward to returning to this special place.

Truly an amazing experience in Costa Rica! —this was my first time in Costa Rica, and it was absolutely beautiful! The nature, the mountain and lake views, everything was just stunning. It was the best 5 days I could’ve spent. The host was wonderful—she and her boyfriend were always happy to help whenever we needed anything. They gave us great recommendations on where to go and explore. They are very helpful. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures—totally private, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable. I felt so much peace and relaxation the whole time. Highly recommended!
