Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Alameda County

Ashley’s studio suite was very comfortable, clean, neat, and tidy, quiet, and has many great amenities including a nice size kitchen. It was perfect for morning coffee, breakfast and evening appetizers. We opted to have most of our meals out. The sheets (so soft) and towels were fluffy white and high quality. The Queen bed was very comfortable. The studio is located within walking distance to so many wonderful restaurants. We had two amazing dinners at Almanac Brew company and Saltbreaker. Yum! We Uber’ed to Yoshi’s for dinner and a show. Fabulous! Thank you Ashley for sharing your sweet vacation property. Diane & Mark

the apartment was very easy to settle into me the kitchen is decently stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, silverware. the living room is comfortable, bedroom has a comfortable bed, decent desk with a monitor. there is coin op laundry and a parking spot. there are supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants a short walk away. the place worked out very well.

It’s a nice place with great customer support. I recommend this place for those who travel to the Menlo Park area.

The train-side units are loud but not intolerable. Closed windows mitigate some of it and the train doesn’t run (I think) between midnight-6am. Building is pretty quiet otherwise. Lots of amenities (dog park, in/outdoor meeting and lounge areas, gym, car charging stations) and conveniences (food, drink, fitness spots, etc) available. Comfy med firm bed, pillow variety. Well appointed kitchen. Lovely grounds. Low traffic building. Would definitely stay again!

Loved staying at Ari’s. Relaxed and friendly host, home is clean, fabulous bed and linens. Needed a few days of quiet. It was easy there and Ari was great with my pups. Thank you!

Lovely, bright condo in upscale development in Emeryville, nicer than adjacent parts of Oakland. As described, perfect photos. Great living room light from big windows yet still feels private with no fishbowl effect. Exemplary fire protection. Clean. Decorated. Comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms. Good plumbing & hot water. Pack your own shampoo & kleenex. Primary bath (ensuite) has no door. Instructions for access sent well in advance but still a difficult process. No parking on street in front of building. Park at corner under Powell St overpass. Garage access card was inside condo but door codes didn't work until exactly 4:00pm. (Doors can be unlocked remotely by Patricia, which helped, but better to set timers to allow check-in whenever unit is ready, as at hotels. We waited in the lobby.) Assigned parking space inside gated, fenced area in garage is a tight space. Many spaces available outside the secured area. We appreciated very generous extended checkout time for late flight.

had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a 5-minute commute to work, which made my if so much easier. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and kind, as well as very understanding & above all accommodating.always available if I had any questions and genuinely made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay in the area. Would definitely book again!

For all you design aficionados out there, you won't find a more stylish place in all of Oakland. Lucretia's condo is stunning! It's an oasis in the heart of Oakland's vibrant downtown. And Lucretia is a warm, welcoming hostess who will make you feel completely at home.

This is an awesome place to stay at! The scene is beautiful, especially during evening. Direct view of Oakland port and surroundings. The community is very peace and residents are very friendly. The host Kathy is also very friendly and responsive. She answered many of my questions. I like the self-served check-in and check-out, which offers a more flexible travel schedule. The only reminder for other people driving cars with low ground clearance is to watchout for the garage entry. There's a pretty sharp corner near the #3 entrance, so if ground clearance is a concern, you can get into the garage via #5. (My Tesla Model 3 cannot enter via #3 as a reference).

Jill’s place was amazing and she is a wonderful super host. Very responsive, beautiful property and neighborhood. Peaceful and a great place for small kids and adult kids too. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to this area.

Wow... the listing didn't do it justice! The accommodations were first class and plentiful. Kids and adults both had ample spaces and the great room was far enough from bedrooms that everyone had their own privacy. This worked great for our 5 adults and 3 pre-teen kids. Managers were extremely responsive to our feedback and offered to send a maintenance team member even for a few tiny problems - we declined but it was nice that they offered! Kitchen and great room were incredible and made for hanging out (although we would have liked a large TV in the space). Outdoor spaces were also comfy and easy to move between indoor spaces. We will definitely keep this home on our short list when we visit our family in the area again!

What a beautiful home nestled in the Oakland hills! We loved staying in a space that felt cozy and genuine. We had the amenities we needed like plenty of plates, towels, and bedding. This is a 2-bedroom listing with an optional, comfortable Murphy bed in the living room, which we used. The neighborhood has incredible views of the bay and SF, yet is still close driving distance to shops and restaurants (around 10 mins). We enjoyed our stay!

This AB&B did not dissapoint. It was much more spacious in person and can comfortably fit a large group. The hosts were very responsive to inquiries before & after booking and checked in with us to ensure our stay was satisfactory after we arrived. The house was easy to get into & the detailed instructions were very helpful. This house is great for entertaining, with an open floor plan that includes two dining areas, a living room and kitchen with all of the appliances, oversized fridge and freezer and cooking ware/utensils needed to prepare meals. This house has several steps leading from the driveway to the front door & on both floors so as the listing stated, if you or your pets don't like steps, this is not the home for you. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was both beautiful, peaceful & quiet. We enjoyed the scenic views of the golf course and greenery. Overall, this home is light and bright & has all of the amenities to ensure a clean, comfortable stay.
