We are close to major Silicon Valley destinations; 30 minutes from San Francisco, San Jose and the beach in Half Moon Bay —with easy access to Highways 101 and 280, as well as public transportation (SamTrans, Caltrain and BART via Caltrain). Our quiet street is an easy 5-minute walk (0.2 mi) from downtown San Carlos with shops and literally dozens of restaurants.

Private, Detached, Urban Creekside Studio.

This unique, well equipped, 1 Bed cute little studio (that we love) is detached and fenced off from our main house. It has a separate entrance through a side gate and it's own private rear deck, with a seating and dining area... that overlooks Sausal Creek and Dimond Park. The tall willow that grows along the creek gives the deck the perfect amount of privacy and with the tranquil sound of the creek flowing (not during dry season) you would almost forget you are in an urban city.

Gorgeous, sun- and art-filled studio/cabin with kitchenette and bathroom, separate from main house. Set in a beautiful California version of a traditional French or English-style walled garden. Safe, friendly neighborhood. Enjoy the sounds of birds in your quiet, beauty-filled oasis. In backyard of large house also occasionally available. New queen-sized mattress. 2 adults maximum. 3rd person ok if small child only. Studio is too small for more people. Not a full kitchen.

Hike up to a well designed, small-but-mighty modern cabin with fast WiFi, your own hot tub and a panoramic view spanning across the bay from the Golden Gate to the San Mateo bridge. 108 stairs lead up to the Aerie, so if you don’t want to get your steps in, this is probably not the space for you! 15 min from OAK and city life, but a world away. Sunsets are glorious here. The Aerie is a special spot just for 1 or 2, so leave the posse behind. Registered guests only.

Little Cottage on the Hill

Enjoy a peaceful stay at this charming, secluded detached garden cottage great for a stay-cation or as a work-from-home alternative.
