This cozy home located in the hillside was just what we needed. The view was breathtaking and the interior of the house was something out of a magazine. Location to Homer and the Spit was great. Despite being 15 minute drive from the spit, it is an easy drive and well worth it for the view while at the house. Scott and Hester are the most responsive hosts I've ever dealt with. And I just fell in love with the impressive tile work in the master steam shower. Thank you for allowing us to bring our fur baby with us, she loved it as well. We definitely will be back. Thanks again for making our first time to Homer memorable.

What a great location and home! No needs at all… just show up and you’re ready to relax! Great view of the entire area. Peaceful sleep in a clean home with plenty of room to enjoy. Brett is over the top helpful and responsive. This will become our normal Homer stay location moving forward - as long as there is availability as it books fast!

We enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb and would definitely come back again. The location is excellent—just a short and easy walk to town. We loved being able to grab coffee, shop, or go out to eat without needing a car. At the same time, the neighborhood is very quiet, peaceful, and felt completely safe, even at night. The house itself is clean, spacious, and full of nice homely touches. It’s clear the host has put thought into making it comfortable, from soft blankets to a well-equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well every night. One big plus was the strong and reliable WiFi, which was perfect for working remotely and streaming shows. The space is also great for relaxing, with a comfy living area and even a lovely little outdoor spot to enjoy the sun. Check-in was simple, and the host was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. We would recommend to stay here.

This place was perfect for our visit to Talkeetna. It was a great, cozy cabin, and we would happily stay again.

Cozy comfortable cabin. The kitchen and dining table were especially nice for cooking, meals, and family games in the evening. The outdoor conversation area was sunny and clean. Walk to beach and to Millers for dinner. Enjoyed the nautical library as well. Would stay here again

Amazing little spot perfect for a couple, it was clean, comfortable, had laundry and close to the airport, exactly what we needed to end our AK trip and the value was great! Def recommend and would stay here again!

Wonderful stay! First time coming to visit Alaska. Felt like home. My partner and I fell in love with the home. Fully stocked with what we needed. Didn’t leave the home just for some grocery shopping. Would 100% stay here again! I highly recommend, won’t get disappointed.

I have a family of four and a dog that stayed at Maraya's. After a long day of traveling, we all felt right at home. The kids had toys to play with. The dog had a yard to roam around (kids too). The parents had a nice place outside to unwind. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked to be able to cook our own food. We all LOVED the garage space that had darts, a pool table and ping pong table. Maraya put time and thought into making this a comfortable place!

Me and my sister loved this place!! I wish we could’ve stayed for longer but our itinerary had to be changed for coordination reasons. Our favorite was the relaxing sauna, which was perfect, and we took a nice bath/jacuzzi with the bath salts that was amazing. I had one of the best sleeps on this trip in the loft bed, which was SO COZY. all the thoughtful details, amenities, and decor were so perfect, I wish I could give this place 10/5 stars!

Truly incredible place. The view is breathtaking - you can stare at it all day and watch the wildlife. We saw orcas, humpback whales, sea lions, seals, sea otters and a variety of birds all day long. It seemed like every time I looked outside some sea critters were playing in the ocean right below. So awesome. The stairs as others have said are a challenge but not dangerous, just a good workout! And they go by quickly. The cabin is well stocked with kitchenware / plates. My only suggestion for those traveling is to bring a personal blanket for sitting on the deck. I was surprised how much time we spent doing that. It just never got old. Definitely try the sea kayaks - such an awesome excursion. Overall a truly incredible place. Especially for adventurous spirits that want to experience tranquility. I hope to go back someday soon!

We really enjoyed our night at Sean’s place right on the slough—our front row seat to the changing tides and wildlife was incredible! Haley, the housekeeper, was super friendly and flexible with us—she really made our stay feel special. The whole experience here was super cool!

This cabin was perfect for the 2 of us! It had everything we needed. Joe and Leslie were very helpful and courteous. The cabin was just as it was listed, provided us privacy but still close enough to go where we needed! You will not be disappointed in booking this cabin. Very peaceful and relaxing! Thank you Joe, Leslie and your fur crew for making our Alaska vacation so memorable!

Great little nook in a great location. We had a mishap with the hot tub but they were extremely accommodating and made up for it. The apartment has a slight funky smell but is really cute retro vibes, beds are comfy and the instructions are very easy to find/understand. They have plans to renovate further and add a private entrance. I would definitely rent here again.

Loved the cabin! Perfect for me and my two teenage boys in June. Plenty of space for us. Hot tub was magical after a long hike. Location is great - easy 3 min drive or 20 min walk into Girdwood for meals. Would absolutely stay again!

We loved staying here! It was very peaceful and we loved having the hot tub. The neighbors are VERY close, so if that will bother you, don’t stay here. It didn’t make a big difference for us but it might for some (they were on their porch while we were on ours, a stone’s throw away).

We planned a little get away with our adult kids and it was just what we needed. The fire pit and pool table were a hit. We cooked and played games around the table and enjoyed time in the sun room. The house in the wooded setting was exactly what I envisioned.

We loved our stay here! The house had plenty of space and beds for our group. The hot tub was the perfect place to relax. The hosts were very quick to communicate and provided all the information we needed before our stay. It's a great location for a stay in Girdwood close to the resort and town. Definitely recommend staying here!

Rogers place was amazing! The sauna was so nice and the hot tin was amazing! We had some really neat black tailed deer that visited us every day. We will certainly stay there if we are in Juneau again!! Thank you!

Wonderful place to stay host was very helpful and friendly, Inside was beautiful well kept, clean, very comfortable, well stocked, smelled great. Very enjoyable stay. It looks rough getting to it but it’s so nice inside, so don’t let that throw you. We would stay there again, most definitely would recommend.
