This was the one of the most comfortable stays! We had everything we needed, it was in a great area, and the house itself was ideal for a larger group. We loved that everyone had their own space but enough room to all hang out in the living room area. Eliot was a thoughtful and responsive host. It was first time in Charlottesville for us, so we really appreciated the recommendations in the guest book. Highly recommend this stay!

We came for a wedding. Loved the back deck. So many birds and a deer in the back yard. Loved the art and books and office. felt right at home

Clean, safe, easy check in, spacious. Kid friendly. Felt peaceful and secluded in the forest despite the fact that it's near the road, which was pretty cool. Washer and dryer access was a welcome touch. Kitchen is well stocked. Easy parking. Not too far from town, and the roads around the property are well maintained and easy to navigate. Overall a great stay. Thanks!

Our spring weekend at the Critzer House was all that we hoped and more. Super clean and plenty of room for everyone to be together, and apart when we wanted; a gas grill to fix barbecue at home; and a lovely fire pit to enjoy in the evening. The location is perfect for those that want to enjoy all that the Nelson 150 Craft Beverage Trail has to offer. Can't recommend enough as the perfect place to stay!

Great house in Charlottesville. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. Comfortable beds and a tankless hot water heater which is nice with multiple teens showering. Matt was very responsive to my questions and super quick to reply. We enjoyed walking down to the casual brewery Högwaller. Would recommend this house for a visit to the Charlottesville area.

Absolutely gorgeous grounds! We walked every morning and evening with our 14yo boxer, she loved it! Flower garden out front is adorable, cabin is really historic and charming. Close to a great country store/restaurant (Polly’s Folly) and a really scenic drive to Shenandoah (Rockfish Gap entrance). Also, check out the amazing wineries in the area, this was the ultimate getaway of mountain views and not worrying about a thing (ie work). I highly recommend booking, you won’t be disappointed!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and had a great time. The house was even bigger and cozier than I anticipated and the views were gorgeous. We loved being on the same property as Cardinal Point Winery and walked down to do a tasting/enjoy some bottles. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we could have needed and the pool area was great!

This is by far one of my favorite Airbnb finds. The area was gorgeous and the cabin was the perfect size for us and our pups. We even made a friend out of their barn cat who is the sweetest little thing. We attended a wedding nearby and it was the perfect location. A million thanks to the host for having us! I’ve saved this place for another visit 💗

This house sits at the top of my list for Airbnb's. Tamar made sure everything was in the house that might be needed by her guest's. The cottage has been updated and decorated well. But it still maintained that old cottage feel. Thank you Tamar and we look forward to be back with you in the future.

A beautiful little home on an absolutely stunning farm. Sam was a helpful and attentive host who was always quick to respond. We found ourselves enjoying our time on the farm even more than our time off it! The farm cat was an absolute riot to watch playing outside. He is a sweetheart!

We stayed at Diana’s place while visiting with our daughter for our annual apple picking trip. Her place was a bit far out away from things, which we expected. It was cozy and had everything we needed for the weekend. I would highly recommend this cozy cottage when you want to get away!

Jodi was the sweetest host! She was so quick to respond to any of our questions or needs. The pool was the perfect spot where we spent much of our time. The screened in porch was also so lovely!

Jen and her place were amazing! She kindly accommodated an early check-in and even left a homemade treat for us. The space was charming, spotless, and perfect for a quick weekend stay. If we’re ever back in Crozet, we’ll definitely stay with Jen again!

My daughter‘s wedding was at the tent at Eastwood so we rented the cottage. It was perfect for getting ready! Really cute little place!

The house was perfect for what we needed. The rooms were big, clean and had comfy beds. They had a fully stocked coffee machine. I was very happy with our choice to stay here. Just a quick 10 minute drive to downtown Cville.

Michael's mountainside cabin was very nice and the views were great. The cabin sits atop a mountain and is very private and peaceful. The cabin was fully stocked and all amenities were provided. It was pleasant sitting on the large front porch on the morning enjoying our breakfast looking at the mountains and watching the deer walk through the yard. The fire pit at night was very nice and relaxing and all the firewood was provided. The internet was fast and there was plenty of TV options available if you want to watch TV. There are plenty of wineries that offer tastings within 15-20 minutes of the cabin which were very good. There is a cool pizza place, Dr. Ho's Humble Pie, in the town of North Garden, about 30 minutes away. The 'main' road leading to the cabin driveway is a gravel road and the driveway up to the cabin is a steep, winding gravel stone road and you may need an SUV or truck to access the last 100 yards to the cabin. I would recommend this place for a peaceful getaway.

I had a wonderful stay at Ann’s charming home in Charlottesville while attending a wedding. The house was perfect for our needs — cozy and homey. We especially appreciated the little touches, like the toiletries provided in case we forgot ours, and the fresh fruit Ann left for us — a very sweet gesture! Having access to laundry was a lifesaver during our trip, and the location was ideal — just a few minutes from UVA campus and nearby shops. The backyard was adorable and perfect for relaxing, having a beer, playing Scrabble, or enjoying lunch from a nearby shop. One highlight was how Ann went above and beyond when a package we had sent to the Airbnb got delayed and was delivered to the wrong address. Despite the shipping mishap, Ann kindly helped us by shipping the package back to the sender, truly saving the day! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thanks so much, Ann

We stayed here for a wedding in Charlottesville and, while the cabin was a bit out of the way from where most guests were staying in town, it ended up being the best decision we made. Our group was too large for hotel rooms, and this cabin gave us the perfect place to spread out and relax. We honestly wished we had more time to enjoy the space itself—it's ideal for a peaceful getaway weekend. Unfortunately, wedding events kept us running around, but we could easily see ourselves coming back just to unwind and take it all in. The property offers plenty to do, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. A couple of small suggestions that would’ve helped us (specifically as guests getting ready for a wedding): a full-length mirror in the downstairs bathroom and some brighter lighting in the bathrooms for hair and makeup. That said, these things wouldn’t be an issue for a regular weekend trip. Overall, a charming cabin that we hope to return to when we can truly enjoy it!

We had a Great weekend get away for my wife’s Birthday. Shenandoah Nation Park was a short drive away with lists of trails. Plenty of Winery and Brewery in the area as well. The place is beautifully built and the kitchen was fully equipped for me to make dinners. There was also a large yard perfect for our Chocolate Lab to run.

The Pink Cottage is unique. We felt right at home. It was generously equipped. Eli was very responsive and friendly. Highly recommended.
