Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Alexandria

In the ten plus years that my husband and I have been using AirBnB we can both honestly say that Sami’s home ranks in the top for us in terms of (1) value (2) communication and (3) accommodations. The property is simply super nicely setup with multiple modern considerations. The house is very cozy and welcoming which made us feel right at home. However, the best part was the communication. Sami was up front and forward with communication. They were simple, and he provided us lists and resources for restaurants and things to do locally. Even more, he was super accommodating in terms of flexibility—by far the most helpful we have EVER seen. We give Sami the absolute highest rating that we possibly can. 11/10!

We really enjoyed our girls' getaway at Dillon's place. It's an easy walk to Main Street from the home, which is well-equipped and comfortable. Dillon was very communicative and was quick to answer the few questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Karilee was a wonderful host. The home was a great place to spend a peaceful evening. It is about 25 minutes from Alex Bay and Watertown. We needed a later check out on Saturday and she was over accommodating with us. It was very much appreciated!

We had a wonderful stay. Mark & June communicate promptly and were welcoming from the start. Their home was so charming and very clean. We really appreciated their hospitality.

This cottage was right on the lake and was extremely peaceful. Kayaks and paddle boards were so much fun! It’s a short trip away from 1000 islands which was so worth it!!

Maria’s home was beautiful with a spectacular view right on the water. We enjoyed time on the dock, kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing in the bay. Maria was kind enough to provide us wood for the fire pit and the kids loved cooking s’mores at night. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day exploring the area. Maria’s home was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Thank you Maria for being a wonderful host and sharing your beautiful home!

This was an excellent place to stay. We were floored by just how spotless the home was when we walked in, and it had absolutely everything that we needed. There was even a pack and play which was so helpful for the parent who brought her toddler in our group. The stay was in a perfect location -- convenient walk to downtown restaurants, but just far enough away that we weren't bothered by the downtown noise late at night. Courtney was accessible, responsible, and kind. If you're visiting the area, we would highly recommend this stay!

A bit of a drive but well worth the peace and quiet of this beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I spent our weekend kayaking, puzzling, and BBQing. Mike was so responsive and everything was very smooth. Would definitely come back!

Very spacious comfortable accommodation. No easy place to go for a walk other than the main road, and driving required for food and drink.

Our six weeks stay at Heathers place was amazing. She is one of the most accommodating hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The house was supurb, well heated and cozy for our winter stay. The kitchen modern and well equipped. The two bedrooms we used were a little small but more than adequate for our needs and the yard spacious. We will be back to Napanee often to visit our new friend Heather. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable. Happy thrifting. Linda and Paul and Maizie.

Our family of 5 was comfortable and location was great for our plans. Neighborhood was friendly, quiet and felt at home.

Jake is a great host and always responsive. Place matched with the description and we enjoyed a lot. Finally he reminded me of a beg I forgot and helped in picking it up without any problem. We loved our stay at Jake’s place and I definitely recommend it.

Perfect little getaway that my husband and I needed. Not too far from needing to go to town but in the woods enough that it was peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoors, fire by the river, and enjoying the sounds of nature. The screen door for the sliding door was one ofmy favorite things. During the day we used it to listento the rain, birds, and for the nice breeze. It was great to have that scenery while having a cup of coffee and read a book in the morning. Their DVD collection was awesome, nice variety with some great classics. My husband enjoyed a morning run through the area and told me it was the best place he has ran so far. I definitely wasn't expecting there to be any kind of food/seasonings and they had extra things in the cabin which was awesome since I forgot the sugar for my coffee lol. Overall we loved it and plan to do another getaway with them before we move.

Ryan and Graylin’s loft was so lovely! Spacious, spotless, beautiful decorated, and in a fabulous location. Walkable to restaurants, parks, and waterfront. They were great hosts who were very responsive any time we reached out. We loved are time there and can’t wait to come back!

Laurel was an amazing host! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was incredibly responsive throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. Her thoughtfulness really stood out—she even offered us a late checkout, which we truly appreciated. The peaceful surroundings and little touches made it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend staying here—we’d definitely love to come back!

Emily was a great host! Very very responsive for our questions, was able to clear a couple things up, and even offered an extended stay! The location is nice, offers basic amenities. Couldn't quite get to the water from the location due to overgrowth, but it was a quick walk across the street to do so. The train going by was loud at times, but that's obviously not the hosts doing! lol. Otherwise, a suitable spot for a place to stay when visiting. :)

Diego was super responsive at all times with clear instructions on how everything worked. He was also very considerate, knowing it was our anniversary, and offered to meet us there or not in case we wanted privacy. Very accommodating, and since there wasn't anyone there the day before, was okay with us checking in an hour early! The nature around us was great if you like to see animals. The same can be said for spiders though. Probably not the best location if you're severely arachnophobic, though the cabin did come stocked with means to dispose of spiders. The cabin was decent, but Diego as the host is what sets this one apart. Will recommend!

We had a great time :) The location was beautiful. The river was our back yard :) Jen and Joe helped us get to town the 2nd day we were there and they even supplied us with more shampoo :) we loved Canada so much. everyone there that we met, we're so friendly and nice to us :) the cabin was just big enough for us . The bed was very comfortable and we watched a couple of Dvds that they had. they had a huge collection movies to watch. Thank you Jen and Joe for everything you both did for us. with being our first time in Canada, we will definitely be back :). Nice clean place for a couple to stay but will accommodate up to 4 comfortably. Walkable to restaurants and the bay. Daniel was responsive if we needed anything. We would stay there again definitely.
