Casa Isabella: Serenity By The Sea

Casa Isabella is 5 minutes walk from the centre of the the village of Malfa on the island of Salina, one of the seven Aeolian Islands off the north-west coast of Sicily. This two storey house was recently renovated to exceptional standards and restored in typical Aeolian style with a contemporary twist, sleeping two people comfortably. The house has magnificent uninterrupted views over the ocean, including from the double bedroom, the two covered outdoor terraces and the front garden. It is bordered by grape vines on one side, olive trees to the other, and the ocean in front. The double bedroom upstairs has a window overlooking the sea and also views back to Malfa, and has an en-suite bathroom and shower. Downstairs there is a large living area that opens onto a covered terrace which is perfect for entertaining, a modern eat-in kitchen opening to another terrace, and another bathroom with shower and washing machine. The house is minimalist in design with resin floors and new fittings throughout. All bedding and bath towels are supplied (please bring your own beach towels), and the kitchen is fully equipped. The house is fully air-conditioned and also has heating for the colder months, as well as a slow combustion fire-place. The house has television and wifi, but no telephone. Mobile reception is good. The house is a 5 minute walk from Malfa shops and village square, a 10 minute walk to Malfa port and a 15 minute walk to Punta Scario Beach. It has plenty of parking space for a car and/or scooters, both of which can be rented in Malfa. Casa Isabella is perfect for a week, a month or the whole summer season! Minimum stay is 7 nights. Casa Isabella is also our holiday home, and we ask that you treat it as if it were yours. Upon arrival, we will supply a full information guide to the house, restaurants and other sites and services in Malfa, and the surrounding islands. Cleaning fee is €50 and is to be paid in cash directly to the cleaner upon checkout. PLEASE NOTE, THIS HOUSE IS SUITABLE FOR ADULTS ONLY.

Alicudi, Isole Eolie, Antica casa contadina su isola ancora selvaggia, arredata con mobilio dell'isola, restauro conservativo. Isola non ha macchine, solo muli portano bagagli e spesa, la casa è a duecento metri di altezza sul mare. raggiungibile solo a piedi per le mulattiere a scale( 20\30 minuti a piedi). Un isola arcaica in cui la natura è sovrana, tempi lenti a cui connettersi. Senza luce nelle strade solo stelle e luna. Per questo il minimo soggiorno, in casa, è sette notti.

Gil's Dream is a traditional Aeolian house on two levels, situated in the most panoramic village, called Vallone, on the wildest of the seven islands Alicudi. Alicudi, the island of silence... no cars might disturb you! You can hear the silence in this beautiful place. But you need to like to walk up and down the island by foot. To reach the house from the port it takes approximately 20/25 minutes on stone steps. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is the right place!

Casa Gelsomino

La casa Gelsomino si trova al Vallone sopra la Chiesa del Carmelo all´altezza di 170 metri sopra mare. La casa si raggiunge in circa 15-20 minuti, per scendere a mare e a porto ci vuole circa 10-15 minuti. Ad Alicudi non ci sono macchine, percio c´e un silenzio che e unico. Scale e sentieri collegano i diversi villaggi di Alicudi. La casa Gelsomino e un piccolo appartamento con una camera da letto, una parte del terrazzo principale, un bagno e una piccola cucina con terrazzino.

We have a big double room (with a queensize bed), a small single room, a kitchen and a bathroom, all well and just decorated as you can see in the pics..

La casa dei forni, dimora eoliana ad Alicudi

La casa è una tipica dimora eoliana con una terrazza dalla vista mozzafiato. Viene affittato il piano terra composto da cucina fornita di pentole, piano cottura, forno, frigorifero, stoviglie ecc, e da una stanza soppalcata che ospita una zona soggiorno con un piccolo divano, due poltroncine, un letto singolo e, sul soppalco, un materasso matrimoniale. Il bagno, piccolo, è accessibile dalla terrazza ed è fornito di wc, bidet, lavandini e doccia; ristrutturato 3/2018.

Alicudi, goat house

Perfectly preserved ancient Aeolian house. All rooms overlook the large terrace with a breathtaking view of the other islands and the Sicilian coast. You will find unspoiled nature, silence and privacy. Alicudi has no roads but stairs and one moves only by foot. Our house is located 150 meters above sea level, to reach it you need to climb 400 steps. It takes 15/20 minutes uphill and 10 downhill. A mule can carry your luggage and shopping.
