This host was incredibly thoughtful and kind. We were late getting in and they were very flexible and even stocked the refrigerator for us with some goodies. What really stood out was that they knew we had a 3 year old with us and they made sure we had juice and milk as well as some fruit. We were gifted a bottle of wine and they made us an olive oil cake that we polished off very quickly. Excellent host. Highly recommend.

We had an incredible time at Villa Kamelia. It is a beautiful, spacious house, decorated with many flowers and plants and it had everything we might have needed. Several lovely beaches are within half an hour's drive. Supermarkets, gas stations, and restaurants are in the next town over. The rooftop terrace has a panoramic view of the countryside and the sea. There are many tracks and hiking paths in the nearby mountains. Vagelio and Katerina made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us feel at home, including welcoming us personally and leaving some food and drinks for us in the fridge. We highly recommend staying here.

An amazing villa with a spacious forecourt, a very nice pool area & perfect outdoor lighting in the evening. The outdoor area of the villa leaves absolutely nothing to be desired, the whole design is extremely well thought out. The whole is crowned with the fabulous view of the mountain range & the olive groves. In Mires there are 2 larger supermarkets (6 min by car) where you can find everything. Antonis is also a very nice host, right next door he has his own wine & raki as well as olive oil - everything was presented to us as a welcome gift along with fresh strawberries & vegetables.

We stayed at this beautiful villa with our adult children and an older parent, and it exceeded our expectations. Perched high above Moires, it offers stunning views of the valley and distant mountains. The villa is exactly as shown, with a fantastic outdoor pool, lovely gardens, and an outdoor kitchen featuring a gas grill and wood-fired pizza oven. Inside, everything was clean and well-presented, complete with a wonderful welcome pack. All the rooms were just as advertised, with quality linens and towels. George, the owner, was incredibly attentive, communicating effectively and even cooking delicious Cretan meals for us on several evenings. He also shared great recommendations for local trips, restaurants, and beaches. I can’t recommend this villa enough—it’s perfect, and I can’t wait to return!

Second time there because we like it :). Very private. Everything you need for vacation is there. No luxury inside but outside is roof terrace with excellent views over the whole valley.

Everything was absolutely perfect! We had a wonderful time staying here! Niki and her family are very friendly and welcoming. It was the same as I imagined. A house that has retained its character and corresponded to the traditional decor with attention to detail and beautiful artwork. It doesn't even matter if it meets the latest standards, there are other values. It had everything you needed in everyday life. Thank you Vanias for the welcome gestures, for your warm words, about our contact in advance, for olive oil, homemade jam and honey, delicacy from the baker and of course the raki, which I also used for the lemon cake. Hourly I sat in the cool shade of the lemon tree in front of the house, reading with coffee or wine and the sounds of the village. I really like the village, the lovely people in the Kafenion and tavern, in the small supermarket, super bakery, even a pharmacy. Everything is close! Phaistos, the sea, the market in Mires or Tymbaki, a wonderful place to unwind. Thank you
