Holiday rentals with lake access in Allegan County

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The place was very clean and comfortable, and we immediately made ourselves at home. Our favorite spot was the top deck where we could look out over the inlet. We saw tons of birds, deer, ducks and geese. We went into town every day and loved the fact that we were 5 to 10 minutes away from anything we wanted. Don’t forget to take the chain-link ferry, climb Mount Baldhead and get a root beer from the giant root beer stand just a few minutes away! We will be back. :)

This is a hidden gem! Our group stayed here for a weekend and had an awesome time. We loved the hot tub, the cozy couch and big common spaces, the tricked out finished garage space, and easy access to the lakes (both by kayaking or a nice 25 min path walk). Aaron is a phenomenal host. He stocked the place with anything we could’ve needed and more. Would stay here again for sure. Only knock is we overestimated the number of bedrooms by 1, but that might’ve been our own fault. We had someone sleep on the nice big couch so it wasn’t an issue.

Had a great stay at Vincent's location here. The view is beautiful and the space is nice. The bottom couch turns into a double-sized pull out bed. There is no shortage of activities available: bikes, kayaks, high quality dart board, ping pong, hot tub. Our only small grievance was that there is no grill due to Fire Marshall restrictions but we weren't made to know ahead of time, yet the photo is still in the posting - and we bought lots of BBQ things. Hopefully that changes. Would recommend staying here anytime! It was perfect for our group.

Such a beautiful stay! They thought of everything possible for an air b n b but also made it so homey. The house was beautifully decorated and a vibe. Location was amazing! Close to everything you would want to do. Hosts were very accommodating. Would recommend this stay to anyone traveling to the nearby areas!

This was our second time staying at Cheryl's place. The house has everything you need to cook, relax, and play indoor and outdoor games. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Kitchen is big and ample room for everyone to join in preparing meals. We especially love the outdoor space. The location is ideal - grocery store and other markets close by. Downtown South Haven just a short drive away and about 20 minutes or so from Douglas and Saugatuck. Cheryl is a very responsive host!

This house is wonderful! We had a bachelorette party and it worked out so well. Close to town and the shuttle was so handy. The house is beautiful. The beds are very comfty and plenty of dishes, bakeware, everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful getaway on Macatawa Bay in a gorgeous and very spacious house. Full of great equipment. Ideal location and the view on the Marina is stunning.

We had such a great stay at this cabin. It was clean and comfortable. The view of the lake was beautiful, and we spent a lot of time relaxing outside enjoying the view and the campfire. We also got out on the kayaks which was a lot of fun. The hot tub was perfect after a long bike ride, and the quiet, peaceful setting made it easy to unwind. It really felt like a nice little escape into nature. Also being able to bring the dog was a big bonus too. Lexi was very friendly and accommodating and made the whole process very smooth. This place is definitely a hidden gem in southwest Michigan. Great spot for a family recommendation, highly recommend!

Excellent location. Unit is small and bathroom/toilet is a tight fit. Very clean on arrival and furnishings are nice.

Joshua was an excellent host. He was very proactive with communication, provided clear instructions, and was always responsive. The location of this Airbnb is perfectly in the heart of Saugatuck so everything is close by and easily walkable. We loved this stay for a quick summer weekend getaway.

Really nice and clean apartment in a safe area. The inside is a little smaller than we thought from the photos but there's lots of outdoor space. Saugatuck is super adorable as well.

We had an amazing girls weekend! The two bedroom apartment was spacious and impeccably clean. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and our private balcony so much that we were rarely indoors. So close to town and so serene on the property. It is the perfect location. John and Bryan are very kind and accommodating hosts.

Great stay with John and Bryan! We loved how close and easy the walk into DT Saugatuck was, and DT Douglas was just a short drive away! The space was great and perfect for the two of us. Having the koi pond and sound of water right next to the deck was great and we enjoyed the use of the hot tub and pool! Just wish we’d been up for getting a fire going, but we jammed a lot into our 3 full days there. Definitely make sure you’re up to the stairs, they are the only way in and out. Overall we were happy we chose this spot for our extended weekend in town. Would definitely book with John and Bryan again. Cheers and thanks for having us! Mike & Tina

We had a wonderful time staying at Audrey's townhome! Our family of five fit perfectly. The place is in great condition and had a lovely view of the water and the wildlife across the channel. It was generally well-stocked for an Airbnb. We liked the location-- everything we wanted to do was less than a 10 minute drive.

Great stay as usual! We’re regulars staying at Stephaney’s place and will continue to come back each year. Beautiful sunsets, picturesque and peaceful area. Nothing not to love at Stephaney’s!

This has been by far the best air bnb experience ever. It has the best view morning and night especially in the winter full of snow! My husky LOVED it. The hosts are on top of everything even the smallest details like providing snacks, dog toys, hygiene products, etc. instructions to get access to whatever you need are very clear. Communication with the hosts was superb. I experienced zero problems during my stay. I will definitely be back!! I HIGHLY recommend. ❤️

Such a peaceful place with a beautiful view! The cottage was comfortable enough and was stocked with amenities. The beach was accessible by a TON of stairs and we really appreciated that there’s a box at the bottom with beach chairs and toys. Julie was extremely kind and responsive. We hope to be back again soon!!

Loved the privacy and charm of this place!

Was the perfect getaway! Quiet neighborhood on a beautiful lake. The only thing that surprised us was the close vicinity to the neighbor’s house. The neighbors were very nice and did not bother us at all!

We booked the cottage back in December when we were dreaming of a quick summer getaway. Ashley's place did not disappoint! It was perfect for our family of four. The location is ideal. We were able to walk to the private beach easily - they beach wagon was key. Beaches, shops and restaurants in South Haven and Saugatuck were easy to get to if we needed a change of pace. The cottage provided everything we need including a great outdoor space with a firepit to make s'mores in the evening. I'd highly recommend Ashley's place if you are looking for a peaceful vacation!

Great rental for 8 adults and 3 kids - Host provided all essential household amenities and then some! Had a well equipped large kitchen and dining space. Very little outdoor space but enjoyed Ping pong in garage and large shared fire pit area in back. We were happy the house was just steps away from pool/ hot tub. Beach access within 15 minute walk however South Beach was a better set up for kids and a short car drive away (bring your own beach chairs /umbrella and pay to park there) Brian was great to work with!

Susan was very helpful from the get go. She promptly answered our questions and even went out of her way to get us a bag of ice! Her place was a beach lovers paradise and there were countless things to do even when we just stayed at the house. We would definitely return!

We lost power at our first air bnb and needed a place to move to fairly quick. I found Brendin’s place and messaged him. He responded immediately and said we could check in as soon as needed. The place was beautiful! We didn’t get to use the outside since we were there only a couple of days and had a family Wedding one of those days. Thank you Brandin and Haley!
