Private suite holiday rentals in Allegan County

What an excellent stay we had in Douglas! The room is cozy, extremely clean, and comfortable. We loved watching a movie while staying cozy in bed, and the rainfall shower head is a HUGE plus. The location of this suite is really the highlight. Right around the corner from some great restaurants (we dined at Borrowed Time and Happystance and would highly recommend both), and about a 25 minute (scenic!) walk to downtown Saugatuck where there is plenty to do. We rented a kayak at Third Coast Paddling, which is also a five minute walk, and took it out on Wade's Bayou. Also went to Crane's and Virtue Cider in Fennville, which is a short and easy drive. This is really an excellent spot to be if you want easy access to Saugatuck while still enjoying some peace and quiet. The hosts were helpful and had some great recommendations in their guide. Overall, we felt very welcome and were extremely pleased with our stay.

Beautiful little airbnb in a perfect location in Douglas. It is right downtown within walking distance of multiple restaurants and a short drive from Saugatauk and multiple beaches. I will also say the decor was so incredibly cozy!! Very comfortable beds with lovely duvets and a great vibe overall!! Loved it!!

Cynthia happened to be out with her pup as we arrived. She made the time to take me to one of the neighborhood's beach access sites so I could find the path on my own. Her place is well appointed and comfortable.

Beautiful space. Was not too much and just what I needed for a last minute stay. Host has thought of everything, great attention to detail. Clear instructions, easy check in. I would definitely recommend this home.

Who needs the crowds in Saugatuck? Rob’s place offers perfect location in downtown Douglas with quiet, cozy updated accommodations that feel homey but “away from the stress”. Loved being a short two blocks from espresso in the morning. Everything you need for relaxation. Rob’s attention to details when communicating will impress. Will definitely find a way to eeturn soon.

The guest suite we stayed in was perfect for our needs for a short anniversary getaway. It was very nicely decorated inside and out. We loved the peaceful rural setting and that it was only a short drive to South Haven and Douglas/Saugatuck. Sara gave some great suggestions for restaurants and responded quickly to any questions or needs. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to that area.

Repeat stay for us. Our favorite place to stay!! VERY peaceful, great for kids with a tire swing and grass to run around (be careful by the pond with young kids)! The play area under the stairs was a highlight for my 4 yr old! The kid's books set out were special - we read them every night! Mary and Roger are responsive and very hospitable. The bread - wow! They really want you to have the best stay possible and we feel at home every time we stay here!!

Hope’s house was a really unique and great find. She was very kind and even baked us some food, which was above and beyond what I’ve experienced at other Airbnb stays around the world. She is what Airbnb strives to embody- hyper local, personable experience. All the touches to the decors and finishes were well thought out. As a super-host- I learned a few things from my stay with her. Highly recommend.

The perfect place to call home base while in Saugatuck. You can’t beat the location! Once parked at the Airbnb, you can walk to all the things downtown Saugatuck has to offer. This made the stay so enjoyable and stress-free. Erin’s place was clean and exactly as described. It is on the smaller side and I wouldn’t recommend it for more than 2 people, but it was absolutely perfect for my short vacation.

Dawn's place was nice, clean, and comfortable. It borders a beautiful nature reserve. A 2-minute walk behind the accommodations brings you to a beautiful wetland with birds, beavers, bunnies, and an abundance of plant life. Also, a short walk to downtown Saugatuck, full of restaurants, shopping, and a boardwalk along the water's edge.

We absolutely loved our time at the Lilly pad condo. It was clean, very comfortable and a very relaxing weekend! My husband and I were there for a wedding and we were able to walk into town to all the bars, restaurants and shops. It truly was 100 times better than a hotel. We definitely recommend!

I just have to say if you really wanna get away from it all and spend time at peace in nature this is the place to go to! Karen was a great host as well.

What a gorgeous place to stay in Saugatuck! We loved the large kitchen and bathroom, the cozy king bed, and the proximity to so much of the adorable downtown Saugatuck. Be sure to check out the gorgeous marshes behind the house!!
