Cabin holiday rentals in Allegan County

Really wonderful stay! Beautiful property, house, and amenities. The house was very clean and there was tons of space! It was a great treat to have loads of games, ping pong, and other accessories in the garage- great space. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with dishes and utensils which was very handy. The pond view, trails, and yard space was truly wonderful! Fantastic stay :)

The house is lovely-quaint log cabin with nicely updated kitchen and sparkly clean bathrooms! Wonderful porch with hot tub. The neighborhood is away from downtown which has its perks. The home is one of many duplicates in a cute “subdivision”. Neighboring houses in the association are very close to each other and give a nice community feel. The house is close to the main road so easy to find, but some traffic noise. Restrictive parking but clear directions from owners. Lovely large dining table, two living spaces and three ample bedrooms with clean linens and towels.

We loved our stay in Saugatuck! The cabin was wonderful. Very peaceful, clean, and had everything we needed for the week. We would absolutely stay there again!

Beautiful accommodations in a relatively secluded area of Saugatuck; enjoyed the scenery and proximity to things. Would recommend folks plan on bringing or purchasing anything needed outside of the basic essentials - it wasn’t a hindrance, but usually have experienced more kitchen supplies/hardware than here.

The cabin is a beautiful property that easily hosted 8 adult men on a golf outing. The cabin was spotless when we arrived and the basement media room was a huge hit with the group to watch sports, play foosball, and have mortal combat tournaments. There is a selection of fantastic golf courses all within a 30 minute drive, and Grand Rapids is only 30 minutes away as well for dinners, and going out. I'd highly recommend this cabin for a golf outing, and I would gladly book again if I was going to be in the area.

This place completely exceeded our expectations!! So many thoughtful details and just an overall beautiful place to stay. Perfect spot to get away to and be able to relax the whole time. Will for sure be returning next year for another stay!

We stayed in a cabin and it's pretty nice for a small group. There was plenty of room to hangout inside without feeling to cramped. The surrounding area is nice to explore, even though we have much time to. We would definitely stay again if we visit the area again.

Dana's home was very much what I expected and what I hoped for—the lake is beautiful, the cabin simple but charming and comfortable, and very central to fennville, close to saugatuck downtown. Dana was also very responsive to messages. I love this area and this was a nice place to stay for the kind of calm trip I wanted. My only complaints are minor. There were some wasps coming in/out of the cabin. Some signs in the grass about pesticides made me think this was a known issue the hosts are trying to deal with. The wasps weren't much of a bother, but I think a little heads up or some Raid in the cabin would have been good (Dana offered to have some sent over, but our stay was very brief). The bedroom is also a little tight, but comfortable enough for a short stay. Overall, I was very happy with the stay.

Cozy cabin within quick driving distance of downtown South Haven. Beautiful and clean property!

The cabin/cottage was the sweetest retreat. Nestled in a wooded area, it was a peaceful, relaxing place to begin and end our days in Michigan. We enjoyed the amazing view behind the cottage, watched deer, turkey and critters walk through as we enjoyed our morning coffee. The HOA beach was peaceful and accessible. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunset from the lookout point. The space itself was comfortable and provided everything we needed. Our host was interactive, responsive and helpful. We'd love to come back again. Great location within easy reach of wineries, restaurants, the Art Coast and beautiful parks and beaches.

The cabin was great. It’s definitely a great little getaway. Only issue which no one can control was torrential rain the whole time. It makes it difficult when you have no bathrooms in a cabin. We left the night before due to rain. It would be perfect with great weather.

Staying at the kal-haven outpost cabins was everything I hoped it would be! We came up for my birthday weekend and it was wonderful; everything from the peacefulness of the campsite, to the delicious, free coffee and chats in the morning, to the bikeable trail right next to the campsite into town (we rented bikes from the outpost), dog friendly-cabins/campsite, to helpful staff (thanks Heather and Robert!), clean communal bathrooms and showers, and flexibility with check-in and check-out, I couldn't have asked for a better long weekend. Thanks so much; we'll be back!

Great place! Highly recommend the location!

The log home was absolutely stunning, but also very cosy. We had all the amenities we needed to cook breakfast and a couple dinners, and relax after a day of shopping in Saugatuck and then South Haven. Netflix was included, which was very nice! I went for a morning walk to the lake and then through the lovely neighborhood. Saugatuck, Douglas, South Haven, Fennville, and Holland were all a short drive away. When the power went out while we were in South Haven, Lori contacted us right away and offered an early check out with 1 night’s refund or to bring flashlights. Fortunately, the power was back on and the house was nice and cool by the time we returned from dinner in Holland! contacted sho(15-20 min) drive

This is a GREAT place to stay. So well taken care of, very clean with all the “things” you need for your stay. Brian the host is very good to work with and accommodating.

We LOVED our stay so, so much. The Woods is a charming, private, peaceful space with wonderful extras and goodies. The daily breakfast and snacks and nightly s'mores are so delicious and fun. The bathrooms are gorgeous. But nothing compares to the individual cabins - I wish I could live here! A super comfy bed, our own fire pit and supplies, and cozy swings while you listen to the woods... I was in heaven! We visited The Woods as a quick, calm getaway in the midst of cancer treatments and it was exactly the healing, grounding, and connecting space we needed. Thank you for creating such an incredible place! We can't wait to return.

We had the absolute best time and hope to return every year!!! Beautiful location to beach and beautiful place to call home for a few days. Hosts were kind and friendly, so detailed - there was nothing missed for our stay to be perfect.

The cabin was great and exactly as described in the listing. We really enjoyed the back yard and the dock! The cabin was spacious and had everything our family needed.
