The Cozy Cabin

Small rustic cabin on a quite lane just north of Afton WY. It’s at the front of our 10 acre property with one bedroom with queen size bed. Living room has a sofa sleeper. The bathroom is small, with a shower (no tub) Large flat screen TV with Netflix, Amazon prime, Sling TV and DVDs provided. The cabin also has high speed wifi. Dining table and dishes are provided. Beautiful views of the Star Valley. Close to Jackson, waterfalls and the Largest Intermittent Springs No pets and No smoking.

This peaceful and centrally-located cabin is built with repurposed materials from million dollar homes in Jackson WY and old homesteads in surrounding farmland ID. An eclectic and cozy place to lay your head, enjoy forest views, and explore the forest on your way to the creek. Look out for the local deer herd, our red tailed hawk's nest, and listen for our resident great horned owl. Easy access to Targhee, Jackson, GTNP, YNP and more. Private, nearest neighbor is the main house 100ft away.

It’s well-managed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay—plus a breathtaking, elevated view like no other: layers of mountains, a perfectly symmetrical water view, and sunsets you’ll want to photograph. This cozy one bedroom cabin is 400 sqft with beautiful mountain views. The living room sofa converts into a futon and would accommodate children. A small kitchen has full size appliances (4 burner gas stove and oven, refrigerator and microwave). Pub style table seats 3. Shared access to a propane bbq grill and fire pit. The Backyard Bunkhouse cabins are located adjacent to the main house. This cabin has 2 bedrooms, each with queen bed. Private bathroom. Private entrance. There is not a kitchen but a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot are provided for your convenience. There is a small work space. There is air conditioning in each bedroom. There is a propane grill on the back porch for guests to use when needing a quick meal. The parking area is spacious.
