Cottage holiday rentals in Alto Alentejo

It's been a wonderful vacation - the place is perfect for rest, and the photos don't do it justice. The property consists of four houses, one common (with pool, treadmill, etc.) and several lounging areas around the pool, clean and good size, as well as a pond full of fish. In the area there are several villages with supermarkets and good restaurants; Évora is 40 minutes away. It is a perfect place to get to know the Alentejo and spend the day for example in Lisbon or Évora. The owners, Mathieu and Martha, are absolutely lovely, attentive, polite and respectful. They have been attentive to our needs without being invasive. We are sure that we will repeat it, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

Very spacious house with pleasant terraces and a lovely swimming pool. Carlos and his wife welcomed us with open arms! They were very friendly and very flexible with check-in and check-out. Absolutely recommended!

We had a super magic time in Eleonore’s and «Miguel’s eco-house in the middle of cork chains and eucalyptus trees. We felt immediatly at home. It is a peacefull and charming place where you listen to the sound of the birds and the wind in the trees, look the stars, feel the nature around. Leonor and Miguel are incredible hosts: very friendly and helpfull, ready to give you the best places to go to eat and go to the beaches. And we have ending our stay with a marvelous diner all together. We strongly recommand their place for a restfull, lovely and magic holiday !

Lovely house in a friendly village with bars, small supermarkets and pharmacy. Lovely walks around the area. Garden area perfect to relax. Ana responsive and friendly. Easy parking.

Bruno’s place was peaceful and a relaxing sanctuary including the bells from sheep next door He was helpful in suggesting local treasures and places to find local cuisine. Little touches around the sweet cottage added to feeling welcomed Also very responsive and accommodating. Would love to return

Excellent estate for families with children. We were great in accommodation. The surroundings are wonderful, very quiet and beautiful.

We have enjoyed Casa de Asseiceira 2 very much, very clean, very comfortable and functional, well equipped; we did not miss anything. The peace and tranquility that reigns in the place invite you to rest fully. Lurdes and Emanuel are super hosts, very kind, respectful of privacy, and at the same time attentive at all times, conveying the certainty that if you needed them they would be there, although it was not necessary, since from the first moment we had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. We fired up a barbecue and used it every day, and we were able to taste the best fish from the Porto Covo municipal market at home. Thank you very much Lurdes and Emanuel for letting us enjoy your house, we left with the sadness and at the same time joy of leaving behind some unforgettable days.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautiful. The area is peaceful and quiet. There is a little grocery store and restaurant within walking distance. It was a lovely spot to stay and drive to Fatima and other sites in the area. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. We had a little trouble finding the place and they came right away and met us. Would definitely stay again!!

We didn't expect that much!Licinia was a spectacular host!He has been pending from the very first minute,approached to introduce himself,and to say goodbye,he had some details for our kids for Easter. Honestly, very friendly!The house is great, super clean,modern, in comfort. I love the decoration,it has been done with affection and taste. I have only good words. The area is very nice,we loved Portugal and its people!There are so many things to do and see(Dinoparc, Lourinhã, Mafra,Peniche,Lisboa, Morinhos that are next door, José Franco's Village etc)we were looking forward to coming back!We recommend it!

This was our second time staying at this sweet home. This time, we came during the summer and got to experience a completely different side of the property equally magical. The house is just as charming and peaceful as we remembered, and the summer season added a whole new layer of joy to our stay. The pool was a wonderful bonus refreshing, clean, and surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing under the sun after a day of exploring the region. Mari Carmen, our host, was truly exceptional. She provided all the attention and help we needed, always available and quick to respond whenever we reached out. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel so welcome. I travelled with my family of 4 to Maria’s. The property is a dream, we stayed in Casa das Alcachofras. The attention to detail, the comfortability and quietness, we loved our time there and will definitely come back!! Thank you Maria for being such a great host.

Diane was a great host, she made us feel welcomed right from the start. The place was more spacious than it looked in the pictures, very pleasant, clean and tidy. Perfect for a couple. The area is very peaceful and perfect for people wanting a chilled break yet being near amenities. The nearest city is Torres Vedras (15min drive) has all the things you need, supermarkets and shopping. The enchanting Medieval village of Óbidos, is only 20min away and Lisbon 45min on the A8. Perfect location - charming house - absolute calm - stunning views

Nuno was a very helpful and communicative host. You can tell he cares a lot about the local community and area. The village itself was lovely.

A wonderful country house option for a few days. Ideal for a company to have a good time in the countryside in a cozy atmosphere, there is a grill, its own territory. The hostess's mother is a wonderful, friendly woman. The welcome treats were wonderful. We and our children liked being here.

Elio was super responsive and flexible with check in. He also recommended some amazing spots to visit that were quiet. Overall super peaceful stay. Cannot recommend this place more if you have a car. The goat next door was the cherry on top!

We had a brilliant time at Canto Do Zêzere - the house is really clean, spacious and comfortable, and the lakeside location is absolutely stunning. Boating on the lake was a highlight! We would definitely come back again.
