Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Alto Alentejo

My family and I just returned from a fantastic stay in Ericeira at John’s Surfy Loungy Lodge. We could not be happier with the way everything went. The apartment had everything we needed, the views were incredible and the location was perfect. John and Graca were fantastic hosts. We would 100 percent stay there again, and with luck we will, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family. The entire experience exceeded our expectations!

This place was amazing. Filipe greeted us and gave a tour of the apartment even though it was late. He was very responsive and answered our questions. The place had all the necessary amenities and was very spacious. It was also very close to the main stations and was a great location. Overall would highly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Shani’s. The space was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to feel at home right away. The location was perfect—in a great area with easy access to everything we needed, including restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Shani was extremely helpful and responsive, providing clear communication and great recommendations throughout our stay. It’s clear he really cares about his guests having a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We've just come back from an amazing few days at Maria's flat which was located centrally. The inside of the flat was decorated beautifully and with the added bonus of the balcony, it meant that we enjoyed coming back to the flat to rest and recharge for a couple of hours in between exploring Lisbon. We went as two couples and there was plenty of space for everyone. Maria was an excellent host and let us leave our luggage on our morning of arrival. We had a couple of minor issues (lift and internet not working) but Maria was on it right away and fixed the issues promptly. We were very sad to leave the flat and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this apartment! Amazing location near plenty of restaurants and local sightseeing. Very easy to access the apartment and it felt safe inside & in the surrounding area. Apartment was as listed and all amenities were functional. The host was very communicative and would quickly respond to any questions. Thank you for a lovely stay!

A cosy little apartment in a great area of Lisbon. The apartment has everything you need, including a balcony with a beautiful view. The neighbourhood is peaceful, lots of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops within walking distance. The only downside is getting up and down the stairs to the top floor of the building, especially with shopping or luggage (great cardio though!)

The apartment is in a real great location. 15 minutes walk from a station that gets you out to Cascais and 20 minutes from the one that gets you to Sintra. Lots of good options for food and coffee close by, and a tram stop just round the corner. The apartment is a perfect size and the aircon was greatly appreciated over the hot weekend. The shutters meant we slept so well. It’s perfectly quiet in the evening, and a beautiful church at the top of the hill. Be warned though, the hill to get up into the main square is pretty steep!! Not that this is the fault of the owners, just a helpful piece of advice. Overall, a wonderful stay in a great city and the apartment was the perfect base for our trip. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

A stylish unit in a nice building in a great location. That’s this apartment in a nutshell. There’s lots of activity in the surrounding streets but once you’re inside your door it’s peaceful and quiet. Bars and cafes - there’s hundreds within a small radius. And there aren’t enough the train is only 300 metres away.

Very quiet and cozy space, we were very well received, ideal for family vacations or friends.

Wonderful stay at Sofia‘s place. My daughter and I created some wonderful memories. She was really helpful the entire time we were there, especially with my broken adapter and suggestions for what to do with a limited amount of time. Would like to stay here again someday. Thank you very much Sofia.

Functional, pleasant and spacious house. As described and photos. Host welcoming and responsive. There are no negative points. We had a great time. You can rent this house without hesitation. If we return to Portugal, we will undoubtedly try to rent this house again. There were 8 of us, 7 adults and 1 child. The pool is lovely. And the hosts are very welcoming. The bottle of wine offered on arrival is a bonus that is very much appreciated.

We had a great experience during our stay. A very peaceful space (we only had the company of goats and sheep☺️), our dog walked freely and we followed Daniel's suggestion to go to the beautiful stream near the house. I must mention that Daniel was very friendly and helpful during our stay. In short, I highly recommend it for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. A place to return to ☺️

We had a wonderful time in Vale da Palha! The accommodation was very nicely located – in the middle of the countryside – and there was an incredible amount of space in the garden to relax and linger. An absolute highlight! Our own terrace was in the sun all day, perfect for breakfast, reading or just enjoying the peace. The accommodation was perfectly equipped, we really lacked nothing – everything we needed was there. The location is quiet and you need a car for the area, but you can also wonderfully spend time in Xander's huge garden. Another highlight was the five chickens that visited us regularly – as well as the friendly cats and dogs on the property. We like to think back to this beautiful time and can only highly recommend a stay here! ☀️🐓

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Pleasant, sunny and ventilated environment. The house is clean and organized. Location in the city center, overlooking the mountains.

Map app keep getting confused but we parked and walked to confirm location and from there instructions were perfect. If the weather would have cooperated we would have had a better time in the gardens but we did make the most of ghe delightful fireplace and the hot water in the showers. A note on use of Electric light would have been helpful, but a flown fuse was quickly fixed and we learned the important lesson. We felt very comfy overall and would love to go back and stay longer.

The apartment is perfect for a visit to Lisbon in the summer. Having access to the pool after the long hilly walks makes it a great place to stay. The apartment was well located to walk for food/drink etc . It is up a hill but so is most of Lisbon. Apartment had everything we needed and Natacha was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We were four for a wedding in Lisbon and enjoyed our stay in Isabell's apartment. The two bathrooms and the well-equipped kitchen were particularly practical. The iron and ironing board were also super helpful for our outfits. The apartment was clean, the location good and Isabel an extremely loving and helpful hostess with great restaurant tips – she was always available. A small note: The apartment is a bit noisy, but that hardly affected our stay. We would definitely come back and highly recommend the place!

Catherine was a great host, easy to get in contact with and accommodated us very appropriately. Her place was lovely, very clean and very practical. Close to many beautiful attractions in Lisbon and easily accessible as well. I definitely recommend her home and look forward to coming back in the future!

Very well located, with great amenities and sparkling clean. Building with an elevator, which makes a huge difference in Lisbon where many historical houses are walk-ups. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable apartment in a great neighborhood of Lisbon. Nicely decorated spaces with plenty of room. The neighborhood is home to a number of neat shops and restaurants as well as some wonderful parks. We found it to be a great base for pedestrian exploration of the city. It was very hot while we were in Lisbon and the AC worked well. All in all, a great stay. Would recommend.

We had a great time. From the apartment, we could visit many beautiful places and it is still very quiet and private. The village is only 4 minutes away by car and it is also very nice to eat something there and spend time on the beach. The hostess provided us with everything necessary and was not intrusive. We will be happy to come back!

Great location and apartment just as described. We parked about 3 blocks from the apartment in a garage that had 24 hour on site office. Little confusion when we checked out because it was cash only, but we could have asked! Ling was great. Very responsive and allowed us to check in early to leave our bags and get on with sight seeing. Great experience!

The apartment is fantastic, like staying in a piece of history. Wilfried has taken great care with the renovations and has also kitted out the apartment with high quality bedding and toiletries. Kitchen is really well equipped and Wilfried provided a vast array of coffees and teas. The rooms and bathroom layout worked well for us, a family of five with three grown-up sons, so everyone had their own room and slept well. The location is perfect, very central and easy to walk to most attractions or use Uber for going slightly further out. Its in a busy location with a lovely atmosphere. We weren't troubled by any noise - the trams and bars also close relatively early anyway. Wilfried is great and pro-active communicator. Everything was clean and Eugenia was a delight to meet. Thank you, we would love to stay again.
