Bungalow holiday rentals in Alvor

Just got home from a fantastic week! Any query we had was answered quickly from our lovely host and the villa was a lovely escape. There are some restaurants locally and you’re only a short taxi ride away from albufeira. There is an Aldi and a bakery that have some gorgeous fresh treats. We also tried a couple of different places for breakfast which were also delicious. It was such a treat having the pool as well which is well looked after! Everything met our expectations and more. We’d love to go back sometime ❤️

We have just had a nice stay. This is a lovely, rustic house in a very quiet area. The host lives on site and is very nice. The accommodation is simple but good. The pool I believe is shared with the other two units but we had it to ourselves the whole time. This is not 5* accommodation but it is not priced as that either. For the price we paid I thought it was very reasonable. It is a good quiet location close to beaches.

This accommodation is a gem We stayed with my husband for 4 nights for our 20th wedding anniversary in the koala bungalow ❤️ Close to the beaches and the start of the 7 suspended valleys hike and many remarkable activities and sites within 30 minutes The garden, the various small outdoor spaces, the terrace and the salt-heated pool make this accommodation a unique place... The environment of the 4 BUNGALOWS, each with their own mascot, are all cozy and tastefully decorated... It is a privileged place to relax and visit the Algarve with a rental car And in addition, Florence is a wonderful host. Very friendly and responsive Always there to pamper us and give good advice on activities and good restaurants nearby The aperitif dinner board is a must-try Don't hesitate... We recommend it 200% and we'll come back here as soon as you come back to southern Portugal

Without a doubt, this was the nicest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. After 8 days in Porto and Lisbon, we were looking for a place that was quiet and private, with space to spread out and relax. Vila Harmonia exceeded all our expectations. We loved everything about our stay, but some things we especially appreciated were the effective and quiet AC in all the rooms, the incredibly comfortable beds and pillows, the rain shower heads (with lots of hot water), great wi-fi, and the huge, beautiful pool, which we took advantage of daily. My adult daughter’s favorite spot was the outdoor couch, the perfect spot for a nap in the shade after a day on the go. The surrounding gardens were delightful, too. It was vacation heaven for us. We really liked Luz and the area. Lots of dining options, several supermarkets, and glorious beaches everywhere. Collette gave us great advice in finding the best places. Overall we found her to be friendly and responsive. We highly recommend Vila Harmonia!

Before we arrived in Portugal Bernice was incredibly helpful in helping us sort out taxi transfer and supermarket order. She was an amazing host. The house was incredible. The pool was exactly as described and the house is located in an ideal position for the beach at one end and shops at the other she was incredibly helpful especially as we chose to not hire a car. She was always available if we needed anything highly recommend this villa for the perfect family holiday. It really is home from home with everything you’d possibly want for a very comfortable stay from hair straighteners right the way through to food blenders and anything in between. We would definitely consider a second stay.

This is the second year we stay in the same location. We couldn’t be any more happier. Felt very welcome and found everything as it should be!

We spent two nights at the charming Silves Dos Mouros house from Gato Preto in Silves. Gato Preto is a true oasis of tranquility, surrounded by a beautiful garden and featuring a lovely pool. Our host, Gloria, gave us a warm welcome, making us feel right at home. The picturesque town of Silves, with its great restaurants, charming shops, and rich history, is just a few minutes away. Centrally located in the Algarve, it’s the perfect base to explore all the inland and coastal highlights. We’ll definitely return to Gato Preto and highly recommend it to others!

A very good place to stay. I appreciate the host being able to enjoy their place, a pity we didn't see each other in person. We went to 5 friends and the short time we stayed, we felt right at home. It is a spacious, quiet, beautiful place and I hope to have the opportunity to be able to return very soon.

Jeroen saved our vacation:) We were in a house that didn't like it at all and wanted to switch quickly. In addition, it was a national holiday in Portugal on Sunday and that day. Nevertheless, the location tip top was made in order the day after and we could still enjoy a top vacation! Very nice!!
