Forest Face Lodge Queen Room -Kandy

JudithRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It was a lovely stay. The room was very nice and we had everything we needed. With the tuktuk you need 20 minutes to Kandy but for us it was worth it to have a peaceful accommodation. We had spontaneous dinner here and the price was more than fair.

Villa Forest View

EssamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I was happy with the place. The host was nice and helpful giving good tips and getting us prepped with breakfast to go the day we left. The house comes with a beautiful view. The spacs is perfectly fine for two people but somewhat cramped for children. The breakfast was good, and the pancakes they made were amazing. I really recommend the place. I used the tuk he recommended to see around the city, but found my own cheaper inter city transport

“Spending Christmas in your House as a family has been an unforgettable experience. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, we cherished moments of peace, yoga, and reflection. The meals prepared by Jeyanthi and Chaturangi were absolutely wonderful – every dish was a delight. The rice field hike with Sudharma was a highlight, offering breathtaking views and memories we will always treasure. Everything about our stay was simply perfect, and we are deeply grateful for this incredible experience. “

SKY PAVILION by Kandy Victoria Eco Resort

AliciaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The team were amazing! Extremely kind and very much made us feel welcome. The location was beautiful and even with the rainy weather, we loved seeing it roll over the hills! The bed was comfy and the cold plunge bath was a great addition. There are a few ants (expected in nature) if you don’t disturb them and don’t eat sweet food in the room, they pay no attention! We loved it and would definitely come back!

Enchanted villa Nature's beauty, perfect comfort

CharbelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Aroshi is such a nice host, always saying yes to our requests. Suggested lovely restaurants in the area that we went to and they were great! The house is beautiful, nature is lovely. The only bad thing about this place is it’s a little hard to reach. You can only get there by tuktuks, and not all tuktuks can make the uphill. We were lucky also because her dog had puppies and it was super adorable experience. Also expect some spiders and insects since it is in the middle of the forest, but not much. Thank you!

Better then the pictures. In the middle of the forest, monkeys are jumping around (they never came close or took something). We felt welcome, really nice stuff! Especially Harry were attentive and cared for everything. You will have a great stay!

Goddess cheerful villa with pool

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I stayed here for 6 weeks whilst working in the area. Gaya's place is lovely. Rooms are nice. Breakfast is good and you can request fruit/bread or variety of local dishes. Pool is lovely and there are lots of places to chill out/work. If you do decide to stay for more than a few nights it's worth checking out the local area and here are some suggestions: Food: - City Restaurant: a great selection of local food, including rice and curry for amazing prices. Sala the manager is a really nice guy and provides a great service. There is also a local bar upstairs that shows the IPL. - Sri Saraswathi Dosai: great place for lunch, try the cheese masala dosai. Gym: - If you feel like a workout you must check out Gym Solutions. Susantha, the owner, is possibly one of the nicest people I've ever met, will give you a PT session for an incredible price, and would love to practice his English! Hikes: - Alagalla: Tough but rewarding, underrated; rope climb at top not for faint hearted!
