Apartment holiday rentals in Amherst

We had a calm and super quiet overnight in Amherst (even saw a fox in the neighborhood)— Eva was very responsive and even alerted me when our car’s lights were still on! I will also say that each room has an individual heater and needs to be turned on during winter when it can be quite chilly. Otherwise, the place is as described.

My husband, our pups and I had a great stay at this loft. The space was clean and easy to get in. Parking was not a problem at all. There is a church that rings its bells on the hour, but they didnt bother us at night at all. The shower was a bit cramped, but worked for us. If youre on the bigger side or taller, it might be a bit tight. Overall, great place and Naomi was attentive and provided clear instructions for everything. We will definitely stay here again when we get a chance to return.

Honestly, this spot was exactly what I needed. The location is so beautiful—surrounded by nature, super peaceful, and just overall calming. The scenery outside is amazing, especially the gazebo. I spent a lot of time just sitting out there taking it all in. It really felt like a perfect little escape from the noise. Inside, it’s definitely small, but it’s cozy in the best way. Comfortable, clean, and it just had this super welcoming vibe to it. I loved how everything made me feel like I could just relax and breathe. I was really looking for a place to detox and get away from people for a bit, and this was the perfect spot. It’s secluded enough to feel like you’re off the grid, but still close to food and whatever else you might need. That balance was honestly perfect. Overall, I loved my stay. Would definitely recommend it if you’re trying to reset, recharge, or just enjoy some quiet time in nature.

I loved Gretchen's place so much. It was such a calm little oasis, and I was so comfortable and happy! I will definitely try to book with Gretchen again on future trips.

This home was exactly as described and spotless clean. Michael was proactive reaching out to make sure we had everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the locations was in a peaceful neighborhood with a very short drive to everything in the old downtown area.

We stayed 4 nights at Aisjah's beautiful rental for our daughter's wedding at Union Station Banquets. What a perfect location. Everything is within walking distance and yet the home is beautiful and quiet with gorgeous flowers all around. Absolutely spotless home that seems brand new; kitchen has new appliances and all the necessities and linens were plentiful and spotless. Bedrooms, living room and large full bathroom are upstairs while the kitchen and eating area are downstairs. Hope to have another opportunity to stay here!

shelburne Falls is an adorable town, and this Airbnb has a small table with 3 chairs on a back porch that looks out on the river and bridge— very nice . Cute apartment over the the owner’s store and perfect location to walk around town . crystal was a great host…. proactive before our arrival responsive

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Karen’s guest house apartment! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location while in town for a wedding at Valley View farm, 2 min away. The property is also a very short distance from Northampton. Karen was proactive and reached out well in advance with clear instructions for parking and check-in. We mistakenly did not formally include our small dog in the reservation details, but she was extremely understanding and prepared with special blankets to cover the couch for us. The air conditioning kept us cool, the kitchen was extremely clean and well stocked, and the bathroom was great (lovely tiled shower). Plenty of towels. The yard was also lovely and perfect for walking our dog. Check out instructions were very simple and clear. Much quicker and expected less than other hosts. Next time we’re in Western mass, we will definitely stay with Karen again! 😊

Had a great 2-night stay while in town for a meeting at Smith College! Quiet, comfortable space with easy walking access to all the great restaurants in downtown Northampton. Easy walk through downtown up to campus. Check-in/out was frictionless. Would certainly stay again!

I made the right decision when I chose to stay at Jaki's place. The kitchen was fully equipped so that I could prepare my meals at home and the private deck was a bonus. The location was quiet and felt tucked away, while only being a five-minute walk to downtown. The check-in process was super easy and Jaki made it her priority to ensure I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.

Deborah was the perfect host! Always responsive and super friendly. The place was beautiful with an absolutely gorgeous view. We got to see some stunning sunrises (not normally our thing, but we had to be up early and that more than made up for it). There were lots of thoughtful touches like charging cables for all types of phones on both sides of the bed - not always easy to handle on travel, so this was most welcome The bed linens were wonderfully soft and warm, made for delightful sleep. Additionally when I caused problems with their plumbing, she was super chill and nice about it - I'm still so very sorry for that, Deborah! Thank you for an absolutely delightful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Erica's with our 2 month old. Erica provided a crib, and it was safe for infant sleeping. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, and ended up cooking a full dinner for local friends one night. The kitchen had all the basics that we needed. It was a short trip so we didn't have much time to explore the property, but it looked beautiful and we enjoyed hearing the frogs at night and birds during the day. The apartment is HUGE, and we found it very comfortable. It'll be our go-to for future visits in the area!

It’s hard to imagine a more perfect stay in Northampton. Bright, tasteful, calming, well thought out and squeaky clean! Not to mention easy parking, easy walking to Smith College and downtown but just off the main drag so it’s still quiet and peaceful. Jacqueline has gone the extra mile with great coffee, various milks, welcome snacks, good toiletries, very comfy bed, etc. I loved it so much that I stayed in more than I’d planned. It’s just a pleasurable and safe feeling space to occupy. I’ll definitely be back.

Jane's place was perfect for me while visiting family in the area. Squeaky clean and comfortable. I could have stayed for a month and would have felt safe and content. And the breakfast choices left for me were amazing :-) Thanks Jane, I'll be back.

Marge was an amazing host who went to effort to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of. For example, in advance of our arrival she asked what type of bread and juice we preferred and if we wanted milk or cream for our coffee. She providd fresh eggs and even sent a dozen to our daughter who lives down the street. The apartment was welcoming, clean and cozy. The kitchen and pantry were well-supplied to meet our needs. We will definitely stay at Marge's next time we visit our daughter.

Great place! Everything was very nice. The extra "goodies" (fresh fruit, coffee, ...) were appreciated. If I'm ever in the area, I would definitely stay here again.

this was our second time staying here while attending the green river music fest in greenfield and once again the property exceeded our expectations. Dan is very responsive and friendly, and the house and its surroundings are just perfect. looking forward to next time!

Sandra’s place was the perfect base for area sports travel. Sandra herself is very friendly and responds to messages extremely quickly. Overall great experience

While I did not get to stay myself due to a serious injury, my significant other was singing praises the entirety of the stay. She has difficulty sleeping and some sensory requirements that can make it hard for her to fully relax, especially away from home. However, Johnny and Kate have cultivated a truely peaceful atmosphere in this cozy little getaway surrounded by the best nature the Northeast has to offer. I will definitely be making a point of booking again so i can experience it first hand.

Lindsey is kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The house was very clean, cozy, and bed was so comfortable for a great sleep.
