It's 10-15 minutes walking and 3 minutes with the free ferry and then you are in the buzz of Amsterdam's city centre and Central Station. The free ferry goes 24/7.

The terrace is very pleasant and is a real plus. There is absolutely everything you need for a great stay in Amsterdam. The location is perfect, a metro 100m takes you to the city center in 5 min. We were able to build our dream. A unique, modern and comfortable houseboat of 35 x 6 meters. We designed an independent private studio in the bow of the boat that can be your's for a few days. So you can share our experience of living the good life on the water. My husband Michael and I live on the other side of the boat.
“My daughter and I spent 4 wonderful days on the houseboat. The accommodation is just perfect. The studio is very lovingly and functionally furnished. The location is ideal for exploring Amsterdam from there. You can also use the two bicycles, which is definitely an experience. Ending the day in the evening with a glass of wine on deck is wonderful. Although the city is not far away, it is super quiet in the evening, so that you can sleep wonderfully in the comfortable bed. So, in conclusion, we can only recommend Sonja's accommodation ... a unique experience.”
Beautiful designed top floor studio in houseboat with a large terrace and amazing views over the water. The studio is very light. Enjoy living on the water with easy and quick access to the inner city centre (with a free private parking place).
“Aarts houseboat is an exceptional place to stay, a little out of town in a very quiet and beautiful area. Communication with Aart and handing over the keys worked very well, we were even allowed to check in beforehand as stated. There are parking spaces directly in front of the houseboats, for which a parking ticket must be paid on working days, but we were allowed to use Aart's parking space in the opposite parking garage free of charge. We went to the beach with bicycles, which we could borrow free of charge from Peter, and there are also extensive cycle paths. The upper floor was completely available to us and left nothing to be desired. We felt very comfortable and safe there. A huge terrace invites you to sunbathe, relax and marvel at sunsets. The city center can be reached quickly and easily by train 26. We can definitely recommend Aart's accommodation and would love to come back!”
