Monthly Rentals in Anan, Shimoina District

We had a little trouble getting there by train... but as soon as we arrived, our worries disappeared. We were greeted by Miwa's mother who was immediately very kind and inviting. She gave us a tour of the accommodation with explanations. She speaks only a little English, but she used her phone to translate for us, which was very much appreciated. During the rest of the stay, she was always available to answer our questions. We also did business with her for the rental of electric bicycles, a very pleasant activity. On our last evening, Miwa's mom even came to offer us a homemade dessert. The accommodation itself is a traditional house that is too cute and very spacious. In short, a great experience, we loved it. ❤️

I sent a message in advance and asked for a few extra barbecue equipment, etc., and they were very happy to accept it.It is also easy to understand additional fees, etc., and the owner is willing to maximize the guest's stay experience.I used it with my sister and family, but the children seemed to have a great time.Thank you very much.

great place to experience rural japan. the house is quiet and well equipment for a peaceful stay in the country side. Although we did not managed to see the stars due to cloudy conditions, we had a great time. Spending time outdoors and having open space is a welcome change from the busy streets of japanese towns. We appreciate the clean and comfortable house of our host and look forward to visiting again.

I had an absolutely wonderful two nights at Sonoco's place, which is right in the centre of the old town of Iwamura. I was the only guest at the property, which was spacious and super clean with a lot of lovely details that characterise a traditional Japanese home. It was also really nice and quiet at night. Sonoko made sure I was comfortable and gave me lots of tips for what to see and where to eat. Sonoko was the kindest hostess and I would wholeheartedly recommend her place to anyone. If you are staying here at the weekend, also make sure you get a coffee from cafe Sumire, which is only two doors down from Sonoko's place.
