Just... wow! We felt truely blessed with the opportunity to stay here. The pictures really don't do the view and villa justice, it's a really remarkable find and absolutely stay here if you get the chance. Sonali and her family are wonderful people, who really made the stay. Sonali's cooking was wonderful, lots of dishes each evening that were so tasty and taking the time to go through the menu with us is really thoughtful and made sure we enjoyed everything. Lesley and Ken have truely thought of everything, there's not a single thing missing and nothing to be improved on. We went out easily on tuk tuks to visit surrounding areas, only to return to absolute bliss with a dip in the warm infinity pool. We even took a little boat ride around the lake from the dock at the end of the garden that Sonali organised for us. This place is a true gem, and we felt so lucky to be able to stay here - just try and stop us visting again!

We had the most amazing stay at Elspeth Villa in Ahangama! The villa itself is absolutely stunning – beautifully designed, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, and you can truly feel the care that went into creating such a peaceful space. Elspeth was a wonderful host, super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a tranquil escape with a personal touch. The treehouse is an amazing place to stay for exploring the south coast of Sri Lanka. The location is very private and enclosed but still close to the towns of Unawatuna and Galle. The treehouse itself was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and even have a BBQ! The pool was a great size and depth with a cool rope swing. The hosts were very helpful and attentive, with a very friendly doorman. We wish we could have stayed longer as this was the highlight of our trip.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Tammy's property. The setting amidst the paddy fields was stunning, and we loved seeing the peacocks, monkeys, and diverse birdlife. Adding to the charm were the lovely dogs on the property, Unnabala and Suddhi. The property itself is amazing, but what truly elevated our stay was Charith, the caretaker. From the moment we arrived, his warm smile and positive attitude were so welcoming. His cooking was exceptional – every meal was delicious! Beyond that, his patience and willingness to help with anything we needed were truly remarkable. Charith's care and dedication made our trip so special. While the location is beautiful, it's Charith who would bring us back to this Airbnb without hesitation on our next visit to Sri Lanka. He is an invaluable asset to this property.

Loved our stay at Villa Sepalika! The location is amazing - an oasis of calm and green with the odd peacock and monkey to add to the tropical holiday! The pool is outstanding and the lawn is great for games (if you can tear yourself away from the beautiful big verandah!). The staff were lovely - they made sure we had everything we needed and the cook was superb! Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to the next time!

We booked to nights in Deepika’s beach cabanas. A wonderful place where sea turtles swim right outside your window. Unfortunately we ended up staying only one night. Not due to anything wrong with the cabana it was as described. But we were travelling with a 2 year old child and underestimated the heat without an aircon and the loud sounds of the waves crashing in during the night. Deepika was very helpful and helped arrange a transfer from our previous hotel so we could find et easily and check in went smooth.

Sanjeewa and the team were extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. The property is spectacular and is like taking a step back in time and very well maintained. The pool area was amazing and the chef did an amazing job for breakfast and dinner with an abundance of food for us. Would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you all so much.

Beautiful house in a gorgeous location. The house and pool area are absolutely stunning. Everyone was very attentive. We did not really utilise the chef because the ingredient cost was slightly out of budget (we are students who were having the cost of accommodation reimbursed by our university). Only other thing to note is that after booking we were made aware that an 1000 rupee per person per day tip was expected, which again was a slight problem for us because the cost of accommodation was covered by the uni but the cost of tip wasn’t. But for anyone paying for this amazing house themselves I can’t see this being a problem.
