We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful lakeside home! From the moment we booked, the host was responsive and helpful. The home itself is spacious and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need. It was perfect for our two families, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The peaceful setting made it feel like a true escape from the everyday. Surrounded by nature, the property is quiet and serene, with super friendly neighbors who made us feel welcome without ever intruding. We loved spending time outdoors—whether it was fishing off the dock or swimming right in front of the house, there was something for everyone. Having access to kayaks and lifejackets was a true bonus and made for some fun family memories. When a summer storm rolled in one evening, the enclosed porch was the perfect spot to watch. This place truly has it all: comfort, charm, and a host who goes above and beyond. If we lived closer, we'd be back often. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Beautiful place, is a great place for family

Sandra is a gem! She was very attentive and responsive. Her place is so peaceful and beautiful! The lake is so tranquil. The house is super dog friendly with a dog door that leads to a fence yard, our pup loved it and the lake! A very affordable rental in Lake Weiss! We had a great time!

Great spot right on the river. Covered dock for our 20ft pontune boat, screened in porch with view of the lake. Great kitchen, pool table, big tv, great rooms and bathrooms, washer dryer charcoal Webber grill Out back. All superb and would definitely recommend.

This house is great. This home had tons of room and was very clean and organized. We all loved basement patio and the up stairs porch. The lake was very easy to acccess and the boat dock was very useful for us. I highly recommend this home if you plan to visit Logan Martin Lake.

We had one of the best trips ever as a family of 6 with 4 kids ranging from 5-10. We spent every day in the water and brought our paddle boards in addition to the kayaks provided. Kids had a blast and so did we. We did prepare for the more remote location with food enough for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. We did find a dollar general not far away for anything you might forget. Overall the space was perfect for our family and everything was there that we needed. 10/10 recommend and would love to return next summer.

This was my second stay at The Cottage, and it was just as enjoyable as my first. Everything was as I expected, clean and well organized for my stay. I especially enjoyed the comfy chair in the living room for relaxation after a busy day. The bed was also very comfortable and provided the rest I needed each evening. I also enjoyed the sounds and sights of a working farm when outside. (They were inaudible when inside the home.) The miniature/baby goats feeding outside of an evening were adorable. I also stopped in town and picked up some treats for Lu Lu the family pup as well as her sidekicks the Siamese and the gray cat. I enjoyed animals very much as it reminded me of the animals I have at home. Steve and his family were very hospitable, and I enjoyed visiting with them also. They are very friendly and gracious folks. Steve's Cottage will by my first pick the next time I am in the Talladega area. It's a home away from home and a true blessed experience.

My husband and stayed here for 4 nights while traveling the country for our honeymoon. We absolutely loved this house. When we weren't swimming in the fantastic pool we were hanging out on the patio watching tv and playing games. The house has a beautiful kitchen. If we ever end up down that way again I would stay there in a heartbeat.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. Everything from the front porch view the cozy beds was perfect. Hopefully in the spring we will be able to come back and stay a long weekend and enjoy the property. They are fantastic with communicating. Somehow, I did not receive the email with gate / door instructions but reached out to Rohogo and they responded immediately, and this was after hours. This was defiantly a 10/10 for us!!

Cute and cozy tiny home! Everything described was fully met. And even with it being a tiny home, we felt right at home!! We saw there was a grill but we forgot to buy charcoal, so the air fryer saved us!! Glad they had that available!! The only worry we had at time of booking was how the showers may be at the campground since this tiny home didn’t have a shower- but so glad it didn’t stop us bc the entire stay including shower house was wonderful & so clean!! We would def come back here again!!

James was extremely helpful in explaining they’re lovely home. Read the details for the airbnb, they WILL answer your questions but nonetheless, I was helped and answered very promptly. If they’d allow us, we would love to rent again next year.

Great location for Talladega race, and Paula's advice on the short cut was very helpful.

My family had a wonderful week watching sun rises and sailboats. The space had everything we needed. Joan was responsive and kind.

This was our first Airbnb stay as a family. We were looking for a somewhat remote location with lakefront access. This place fits that description! We really enjoyed the screened-in patio space. It gave the property an added feature that allowed us to fully enjoy the nice lake view. It rained on & off during our weekend trip and this space allowed us to be comfortable outdoors while the weather passed through. The property was well-organized. The appliances were modern and worked perfectly. The check-in & check-out process were both easy and concise. We are a pretty tall family, so the shower wasn't the best fit & it did not drain well during our stay. But overall, it wasn't that big of an issue for us. Grayson was a great communicator about our trip and we ended up making memories that will last forever. The dock area was a really nice feature too! If you're looking for a nice safe spot on Logan Martin Lake, I would recommend this as a place you should definitely consider.

This charming, pet-friendly retreat is hands down the most delightful and comfortable stay I’ve experienced! Every corner, inside and out, is filled with charm. My puppy, Stella, had an absolute blast, running freely across the lush grass without a worry—no issues with other pets or anything else nearby. Waking up to stunning scenery each morning was a dream, and evenings on the back porch, gently swinging as the sun set, made for the perfect end to every day. We’ll **definitely** be back! We had a fantastic time at Crystal’s place with our kiddos. Plenty of space and every amenity was taken care of. We were highly impressed with the attention to detail and super speedy communication. Highly recommended for exploring Cheaha State Park, High Falls, or just looking for a secluded getaway with the family.

A lovely relaxing stay. Jody and Ken were fantastic, communicative hosts. Jody even offered us an excellent suggestion for a bike trip in Rome, on the way to our next location. We rode the Silver Comet and Chief Ladiga Trails while staying with Jody. We loved relaxing in the evening with our books and the outdoor shower. The beds were so comfortable and the decor was really fun. We were constantly finding new treasures. Thank you all so much for creating and sharing such a special space.
