A truly memorable stay. The landscape was breathtaking — wildflowers, birdsong, horses, and morning mist over the valley created a dreamlike atmosphere. The spa facilities and infinity pool, set against stunning views, were especially restorative. The cabin is compact but surrounded by natural beauty. We loved waking to the sounds of birds and nearby waterfall — simply idyllic. There was occasional noise from grounds maintenance, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall impression. The host was communicative and flexible with our arrival time. Thoughtful touches like the welcome wine and chocolate cake made us feel right at home. Everything was smooth and easy, and we found some fantastic local restaurants. The surrounding area is full of charm, with quiet walks, friendly people, and views we’ll never forget. We spent our days exploring and simply soaking it all in. This place made us fall in love with Portugal — we’re already looking forward to returning. Thank you!

Le airbnb était aussi beau que décrit dans l'annonce, tout a été pensé dans les détails. Nous avons apprécié les nombreuses recommandations et la visite guidée de l'écurie offerte par Cheila. Profiter du jacuzzi en écoutant les oiseaux au milieu de la nature était incroyable. Si vous recherchez un lieu paisible où déconnecter ce lieu est fait pour vous ! Ce airbnb mérite amplement 5 étoiles même si j'ai été attaqué par le chien du propriétaire à notre arrivée, en marchant vers ce que je croyais l'endroit pour récupérer les clefs de la location. Heureusement le chien était attaché au bout d'une chaîne et je m'en suis sortie "seulement" avec quelques égratignures, des bleus et un pantalon déchiré, que Cheila m'a remboursé. Ma seule remarque serait donc d'ajouter une petite pancarte pour signaler le chien qui m'a prise par surprise. Malgré cet incident je recommanderais ce airbnb et y reviendrais avec plaisir.

Espaço incrível! Perfeito para uns dias de descanso, rodeados pela natureza. É exatamente como nas fotos. Vale mesmo a pena passar uns dias aqui. E não podíamos pedir melhor anfitriã, super disponível e acolhedora. Iremos de certeza voltar!

Very nice place with perfect location in Gaia . Beautiful apartment with ocean view , kind host , nice people everywhere . The seafood around the river was extremely tasty .

Bien plus qu’un logement très agréable Sonia donne tous les conseils et bonnes adresses pour passer un magnifique séjour. Il contient tout le nécessaire, y compris machine à laver, lave vaisselle. Au top !! Je recommande.

Très beau loft, bien situé. Je n’avais pas spécialement préparé notre séjour et il n’y avait aucune recommandation hormis un plan de la ville. Les bonnes adresses des hôtes sont toujours appréciables !

From arrival at Luis place I felt at home and in the company of a wonderful host. Luis contacted me daily to make sure everything was OK and provided recommendations for activities and places to visit. I enjoyed the pedestrian zone, the parks, the bookstore the riverside and churches all on waking distance from the apartment. I was pleased to meet his daughter Teresa who make me feel more like part of a family. I will always remember Luis kindness and charm. Thanks also for helping me get a taxi for my early ride to the airport. I will definitely book your beautiful place again on my next trip to Porto.

Reservei o espaço para uma despedida de solteiro. Posso afirmar que todas as 11 pessoas ficaram extremamente contentes com a casa, disponibilidade do sr. Marcos e restante equipa, limpeza, comodidades e principalmente a localização da casa. Era exatamente o que procurávamos, para o tipo de férias que queríamos fazer. Fomos sempre muito bem aconselhados, informados, bem recebidos, não nos faltou nada. Uma terra linda, com atividades e locais de visita obrigatórios. Uma boa relação preço-qualidade para quem procura um bonito refúgio da vida de cidade. Muito obrigado. Voltaremos.

We had a wonderful stay at the Manor House in Porto! The highlight was definitely the terrace — we spent every evening out there enjoying the stunning views across the river. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the city. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a scenic and peaceful stay in Porto.

Amazing location, lots of space, bathroom for each room. Check in is fully remote. We arrived a few minutes early so needed to coordinate with the support through WApp to get in a few minutes before our check in time. Theoretically fully keyless, but they recommended keeping keys because the outer door can be deadbolted by other residents (though we didn’t run into this). Two sets of keys.

The location was first class with stunning views. The location was about 20 minutes from the nearest restaurants and supermatkets.

Luis’ place was excellent! There is a little park area with many great restaurants just around the corner. Luis offered many helpful recommendations. The place was spotless and had a great little balcony to sit out on. It’s close to most tourists spots if you are a walker. There are 2 flights of steps, in case that is an issue for you. Amélia and Joa treated us as extended family who came to visit, making it an immersive European experience :) They were comfortable with us exploring the property, they shared their cistern pool with us, their son showed off for our daughter, they offered us fruit popsicles and herbs for tea - their openness added value to our experience beyond the lovely back patio for dining and cute doggy Amy who always greeted us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

Despite the bad weather we could not swim in the pool, however, they made sure it was cleaned and we still hoped we could use it. The garden is also very well maintained. The house itself was as we expected, it was perfect for the 4 of us. There is plenty of everything and we felt right at home. Hopefully we can come back one day to spend time at the swimming pool!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L’appartement était à la hauteur de nos attentes , d’une propreté irréprochable. C’est la première location que nous trouvons aussi parfaite à tous points de vue . Le réfrigérateur était équipé de provisions permettant de nous dépanner pendant plusieurs jours,ainsi que de fruits, lait,café,thé,jus de fruits. Un grand merci pour cet accueil chaleureux. Je recommande cette location les yeux fermés. Merci

We had our first family trip to Portugal and chose to stay at Gallo’s House and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Toni, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and met us outside upon arrival. He showed us around the property and explained everything thoroughly, which was such a lovely start to our stay. The house had everything we needed: a fully equipped kitchen, fresh towels, and all the essentials. The pool was beautiful and available to use whenever we liked, a perfect way to relax during our trip. The area is peaceful and quiet, ideal for unwinding, yet it’s conveniently close to Porto, which made exploring the city really easy. Toni also gave us lots of great recommendations on where to eat and what to do in the area. Toni and Cristina truly know how to take care of their guests. Their hospitality made us feel right at home, and the place itself is simply amazing. I hope to return one day and stay there again. Highly recommended!

We had a great time in Afife and enjoyed our stay at Joaos place. The location was very quiet (except the Honda shop across the street in the daytime) and Afife has not much to offer, which was okay for us but should be known in advance if you plan on eating outside. Porto is great to be reached by train and the beach is very close. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms there’s enough space for a big group and everything was very comfortable. The pool was open already and was cleaned during our stay. The only thing which I would point out on the negative side is that when we arrived it smelled a bit mouldy, probably due to the rainy weather and the fact that 3 of the bathrooms don’t have windows. The staircase to the lower part of the house is very steep. That’s a fact you should know when travelling with small kids. Joao was perfect to contact and always responded quickly whenever there were any questions. Thanks for having us. We would totally recommend to stay at his place.

Vielen lieben Dank, Rita & João! Rechtzeitig zur Ankunft in Porto erhielten wir eine detaillierte Wegbeschreibung zu den Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Wir wurden äußerst freundlich im Anwesen empfangen und erhielten die Schlüssel. Das Anwesen entspricht exakt den Bildern und es mangelte uns, während des Aufenthalts in Ventosa, an nichts. Wir haben die freie Zeit sehr genossen!
