You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle subsides, and it is a time when you can enjoy the slightly quieter atmosphere of Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. Recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino, as well as for stays of one or more nights as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba. Convenient access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe.We also accommodate group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can stay comfortably even for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transport, but the area is more convenient to have a car. Free shuttle service is available to and from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other pick-up and drop-off services, as well as sightseeing transfers, are available for a fee ranging from 2,000 to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, for trips within 2 hours each way.For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange car rental, so please discuss this with us in advance. There is still availability on weekdays in September. It is also recommended for student trips during the second half of summer vacation, as well as for couples and small groups.

This is an old house located in Aoki Village, Shinshu, at the foot of Mt. Fujin. The entire house can accommodate up to 12 people. For 2 people on a weekday, it starts at 10,000 yen. (This varies depending on the season.) The pricing is very reasonable, with an additional charge of 4,000 yen for each additional person. (Children under 3 years old stay free. Children under 3 years old must sleep with an adult. In 2017, it was named the best village to live in in the whole country. Since the entire house is rented out, it is used by families and groups. I am a Superhost. You can use it like a cottage. Since it is a private rental, you can relax without any interference from other guests. 　The guest rooms are two large adjoining rooms, one 10 tatami mats and the other 12 tatami mats. There is also a 6 tatami mat room with a toilet. Fully equipped with a living room and kitchen. The toilet and bath are shared by men and women. Pets are not allowed. [BBQ space] 　You can have a BBQ in the covered space of the old house. 　※ Please bring your own food, paper plates, and paper cups. ■ BBQ area usage fee: 3,500 yen (includes stove, charcoal, net, and tongs) If you bring your own BBQ equipment, the BBQ area usage fee is 1,500 yen. 　 * BBQs such as yakiniku are prohibited inside the building.

Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, a town blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, with a wealth of natural areas such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see birds, squirrels, and marten, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy "living" in the space. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy BBQ and campfires without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, and golf during the green season, and as a base for winter sports during the snow season. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

This is an old house built 221 years ago, located in the center of Tsumago-juku. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. Equipped with WiFi and an automatic lifting table, teleworking is also possible for long-term stays. Please have a relaxing time in this quiet old house. We look forward to seeing you ！

Our private kura (Japanese storehouse), next to our family home, was renovated into a guesthouse in 2018. Enjoy the unique experience of staying in a real farmer's kura with the entire building all to yourselves. Our apple orchard is about a 5-minute walk away. During the apple season (late August to mid-November), you're welcome to enjoy complimentary apple picking.
