You’re booking an XL twin bed for 1 person at The Arete Hostel and Campground, the New River Gorge's best hostel. Your bed is one of five in a mixed dorm with a private changing area. Each bed has a fan, light, sound machine, charging station, privacy curtains, and under-bed storage. Enjoy access to a pro kitchen, spacious lounge, lockers, and laundry. Need more space? Super Bunk @ The Crash Pad: An Uncommon Hostel

All guests are required to show proof of travel by one of the following two options: 1. A foreign passport (must be current with a port of entry stamp with in past 1 year) 2. 7-person shared bunk room at the Notch Hostel, a farmhouse-turned-hostel with shared/private rooms and communal bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and grounds. This is a hostel dorm room; you will be sharing this room with other guests. All single twin beds; no bunk beds! 3rd floor. This room used to be a crash pad for the workmen who built Loon Mountain ski resort. Before that it was part of a barn that was later redone and connected to the main house.

Bear Cave at the Acorn

The Acorn is part of the 60 acre, 137 year old Oakland House property that has been operated as a summer vacation destination since it was opened to guests on July 4th, 1889. Once an ice house and even a casino, the Acorn is a quaintly rustic piece of history we hope you enjoy! Bear Cave is a private room with one twin bed and is tastefully decorated with antique furnishings. Room is located on the first floor of the house.
