Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ardres

We spent a weekend with a group of 8 adults and 7 children. We found a beautiful house clean, welcoming, warm and with a beautiful garden in which the kids had fun playing. It has everything you need for toddlers with high chairs and umbrella beds. The hot tub was much appreciated by everyone:) There are clear instructions throughout the house. In short, a great 2 day stay. Too bad we only stayed one weekend!

Aidan & Wendy were perfect hosts. We had an amazing relaxing time despite walking 18.2k along the stunning coastline! The barn was the perfect place to retreat to. Aidan was super helpful and welcoming when we arrived and it was a pleasure to stay with them. I have already recommended them to a friend 🙌🏻

Christine is a lovely person The cottage is a haven of peace in the middle of the birds' songs. the cottage is impeccable and decorated with a lot of sensitivity and sweetness. the very comfortable bedding. and the final bouquet, a beautiful relaxation at the end of the day in the jacuzzi. an excellent choice, I recommend it at 200 /💯 we'll be back for sure.

Very pleasant stay, Fanny is available and responsive for responses to our requests by text or during our meetings. Listing as described. Our dogs were really welcome, small courtyard well closed for them. Good time in the real countryside and 35mn from the sea. Everything about it is excellent Thanks for the great time.

Functional, clean accommodation with all the essentials for the stay. The big plus is of course the direct access to the beach and the environment with the farm and its animals. That's what tipped the balance in our choice of accommodation because our kids loved it and we didn't want to take the car all the time to go to the beach. Frédérique is responsive and attentive, we were treated to local drinks and cookies. We keep the address for a future stay on the coast. Thanks!

A big thank you to Alain and Mireille for their warm welcome, the little touches and their recommendations in the area! The accommodation is ideally located to enjoy the Marquenterre and its surroundings, very well equipped and the jacuzzi a real plus to relax after a busy day! Great stay!

We spent very nice days, the house is right on the beach, only separated by a street. The house was clean, the beds very comfortable and the bedding of good quality. Raphaël is a very hospitable and responsive host.

The reception was warm and friendly. Although on the same property as the owners, you had your privacy. My dog was able to let off steam on the huge area and had a nice friendship with Orphée, who visited us several times a day. Nothing was missing in the household, the only downside is that there is no toilet upstairs. The huge, dog-friendly beach is only 5-10 minutes away by car. The convenient location is great for further excursions into the surrounding area. Although we actually only go to each place once, we play with the idea of coming back again. We had a wonderful weekend stay at Gerard and Lorette’s holiday home in the beautiful Baie de Somme. The house has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep for everyone. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare delicious meals, which made family dinners a real pleasure. All in all, it was the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway. Highly recommended!

We felt very comfortable and really recovered. From the house to the sea, it is only a few minutes' walk, which we have walked several times with our dog. The whole place is very quiet and very well maintained. The right place to relax.

We were welcomed at Nelly and Bernard's like royalty. Hosts of kindness, hospitality, always available and ready to help at all times. All this in a beautiful and impeccable setting that even our dog loved, with a breakfast to die for that we will not forget. A must-see place with exceptional hosts, to be repeated without hesitation.

You feel a little at home in this charming apartment where nothing is missing. Great location, very quiet, with the pleasure of having breakfast facing the sea! The only point of attention is the rather steep stairs with narrow steps, which may not be suitable for everyone. But you get used to it quickly and you just have to go with it.

The studio is very quiet, although close to the city. It is very close to the walled historic old town. You can walk around the old town (with the dog) on the wall-like city wall. This walk is beautiful and very well maintained. The studio is located on the ground floor (only 2 steps) and has a separate entrance. There is everything you need. The beds are super clean. Last but not least, we also found our own enclosed parking lot to be very advantageous.

This place is amazing! such a beautiful location. We had a lovely time for our 4 days. The house is great, very tastefully decorated and lots of amenities. The pool was an excellent addition but unfortunately the weather wasn't as warm as we had hoped. Nevertheless we had a lovely relaxing time, playing boules, walking the vast grounds and enjoying the peace. We hope to visit again.

Great stay in Fort Mahon. Impeccable accommodation and super well located. Ideal for walking (Marquenterre, Le Crotoy, Baie d'Authie etc.). The place is "timeless", in a calm and serene atmosphere. Nicolas is a considerate and available host.

We had an incredible stay at Lievekes house. The photos on the listing did not do it justice! The facilities for children are incredible- our 4 year old and 6 month old couldn't have been better catered for! The kids playroom outside was a big hit. The hosts were friendly and approachable and helpful when there was an issue. They were so helpful at check in and really thoughtful at check out with the children. Our son loved being able to explore the farm, feed the alpacas and sit in the farm machinery. Lots to do nearby too from Bruges city, Ypres history etc. We will be back!

We had a great time. View from the apartment, magnificent. Peaceful, refreshing and relaxing environment. There are many places to discover... Restaurant and grocery store next to the apartment, which is convenient... We will come back because we still have places to discover...

The exchanges with Audrey were very pleasant, clear and efficient. the house is more than charming, clean, spacious, very well equipped, extremely pleasant, well arranged and above all, it smells good🥰🥰🥰. Not to mention the excellent quality bedding (important when you're over 40🤣🤣🤣) even on the sofa bed. Honestly, nothing to say. We were very well hosted , the accommodation is clean, well arranged and very well equipped. When you have a question, we'll answer you within 5 minutes. The pool is beautiful, very hot, very clean and very large , my 4 year old daughter loved it. There are even children's games outdoors. It's really great for a family vacation. We were able to go to the sea because the weather was nice ( 50 min drive ) and the northern beaches are beautiful. The people who hold the cottage are adorable and fold in 4 to make you feel good. I recommend 1000%

We have a wonderful stay behind the back in Martine's home. Everything was super clear to welcome. The large spacious kitchen and the extra fridge made sure we had enough space to tidy everything up nicely. It really felt like a home. All the amenities for the kids are great, from games to dining chair and plates. Really great! Highly recommended! We are already looking into our agendas for a next date for staying in this cottage! An extra plus, you can go to the restaurant for breakfast, very easy the last day of our stay!
