House holiday rentals in Areias

Lisbon was nice, but our vacation started here. Having this beautiful home and a car, we explored the region and had a great time. Owners recommendations led to our favorites experiences on the trip. Can't recommend enough. The pics don't do it justice either, and the pics are amazing.

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. Highlight was the unbelievable views from the pool and terrace. The villa and garden with pool & basketball/football court is completely private, perfect for small groups. There are some great local restaurants and river beaches, and Porto centre is only a short drive away. Be warned - there are lots of steep and narrow roads! João was a brilliant host - greeting us on arrival, and easy to reach throughout. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

This place is an absolute gem. It is one of the nicest places we found in Portugal. The house is located in a small vineyard. Beds were comfortable. There’s a wood fired barbeque a great outdoor covered area and a beautiful infinity pool. Every morning we had fresh bread delivered to our doorstep. We picked lemons and oranges from around the house and had the host deliver us fruit. It was beautiful and quiet. The only negative is that we enjoy the place so much we did not visit any of the surrounding areas😊. If we had any questions, the host was response almost immediately with suggestions for places to go restaurants, markets. We had an excellent day and would return and stay there again anytime. It is definitely a 10 out of 10 definitely highly recommended.

Après 5 nuits passés dans cet endroit magnifique j'ai eu beaucoup de peine à le quitter.. j'ai déprimé et pleuré tellement ce lieu est parfait, c'est pour dire ! Enfaîte, si je pouvais acheter ce bien je le ferais sans hésiter une seconde 💫 Honnêtement, je suis encore choquée par cette vue à couper le souffle.. que l'on soit dans le lit, sur la terrasse, dans le bain chaud ou encore dans la piscine, c'est juste sublime, incroyable, envoûtant... Je n'ai pas assez d'adjectif pour qualifier ce lieu, tout ce que je sais, c'est que j'aimerais y retourner le plus vite possible ✨️ PS : penser a acheter de quoi faire du feu pour le barbecue et le brasero (avec des chamallow)

Beautiful picturesque farm! Gorgeous sunsets and gardens! We enjoyed our stay at the farm and having a taste at how wholesome and romantic a farm life looks like with its flower gardens, vegetable garden, glass greenhouse and animals. Hosts were very caring and went the extra mile to help us. Thank you!!

We had a great time at Rui’s place. The set up, with two separate houses, was perfect for our two families. The kids absolutely loved all of the outdoor activities between the two houses. Rui was very responsive if we had any questions or concerns. The Ubers are very cheap and plentiful, so made getting into Porto easy. Just be aware that you can’t walk anywhere from the house, so everything you need is either a car ride or delivery.

We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad. Interieur van de ruimtes zijn een beetje gedateerd, maar alles is schoon. Zwembad en uitzicht echt prachtig. Het zwembad wordt gedeeld met Farmhouse 2, maar is prima te doen. In het huis ook meer dan voldoende ruimte, grote woonkeuken. Communicatie met Hugo ging snel en makkelijk.

Excellent séjour chez Silvia avec 2 couples d’amis . Communication parfaite , Silvia est à l’écoute et très accommodante . Rien ne manquait dans sa maison de grande qualité . Merci encore

Espaço muito bom , Sra Teresa muito prestativa e amigável, 5 estrelas . Espaço e paisagem lindíssima, piscina impecável. Voltaremos de certeza.

De accomodatie krijgt wat ons betreft 5 sterren. Het appartement is netjes, beschikt over een uitgebreide keuken en een eigen dakterras. Daarnaast mochten we gebruik maken van de gezamenlijke tuin en het zwembad. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Daarnaast loop je ook binnen een minuut naar het onderliggende meer waar je heerlijk kunt zwemmen! De natuur in de omgeving is prachtig, maar wel erg afgelegen. Porto ligt op 1,5 uur rijden en is zeker de moeite waard voor een dagtripje. Alles bij elkaar zouden we de accomodatie zeker aanraden om even een weekje op te laden in de natuur. De host is ook erg aardig, haar vader heeft ons vriendelijk ontvangen, er stond een fles wijn en kaas voor ons klaar en later kregen we nog verse eitjes van hun eigen kippen. Tot slot heeft hij zelfs nog onze auto gewassen vlak voor vertrek. Echt te lief!

Beautifully designed apartment with a great atmosphere and beautiful views of the river in a quiet neighborhood. It's an easy walk into the middle of town - about ten minutes for us. We enjoyed the pool too! Highly recommended.

Náhir and her Sister are great hosts responded very quickly when we needed help. Their place is very cozy and central highly recommended when staying in Porto.

This has probably been the been AirBnB I have ever stayed in. The new house built on top of an ancient mill is really special and very welcoming with great attention to detail, the host was extremely welcoming and attentive to our requests and the location of the house allowed both for sightseeing in Guimaraes and Braga, as well as for excursions to the mountains and the sea side. We stayed for a week and the longer we stayed the more we appreciated our living environment in the middle of a flowing river stream.

Recomendo bastante este alojamento. Super limpo e com todas as comodidades. A relação qualidade/preço é fantástica. A localização é bastante boa e o facto de ter estacionamento privado torna este local perfeito para a estadia. Nunca foi tão fácil fazer um check-in e check-out. A Mariana é super simpática e atenciosa o que torna todo o processo mais simples. Irei voltar certamente ☺️

Thank you Tania for our amazing stay in Fafião!! We immediately felt at home and loved ever single thing. The guest book and Pin wall where all previous guests could leave their "personal message" was such a nice addition! The surroundings are beautiful (especially as seen from the jacuzzi ;)), and the local bars/restaurants/stores are run by the kindest people. Every single time we needed help, Tania responded immediately and with very detailed and useful answers! In case you are looking for a "remote" location where you can enjoy hiking during the day and relaxing at night, this really is the place for you. Once again thank you Tania for your hospitality, will definitely recommend you to anyone who wants to explore Peneda-Gerês :)

The house sits in harmony with its surroundings and affords you the opportunity to enjoy it all, either sipping a glass of wine in the hot tub while watching the sun set, or lying in the pool and gazing down the valley to the river below. Beautiful. We were reluctant to leave and will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

A casa é perfeita, muito bonita, estava tudo impecável, tem vários utensílios domésticos, a cama é confortável, a piscina excelente, tem uma cozinha do lado de fora que faz toda diferença, foram dias maravilhosos, o sr. Arcilio e a Daniela são pessoas incríveis, a minha família se sentiu em casa, melhor casa que já ficamos, voltaremos com certeza.

Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

A few highlights: the kitchen is fully equipped, the space is family friendly, and the landscape is amazing. This is my favorite airbnb booking, and I travel a lot. A lovely and unique stay with your very own waterfall! The host is quick to respond and most helpful. We enjoyed our stay either out exploring or by the pool.

Très belle villa , l’extérieur avec ses multiples terrasses et sa piscine est un véritable havre de paix . Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipés . On trouve toutes les commodités ( lave linge , fer à repasser, dolce gusto …) pour y passer un très bon séjour . De plus Ema et ses équipes sont très accueillantes . Seul point de vigilance, il est nécessaire d’être véhiculé car la villa est assez isolée. En bref je recommande ! 😊

La estancia ha sido estupenda y nos hemos sentido como en casa porque no faltaba de nada. La comunicación ha sido rápida y eficaz y Jorge es muy amable. El patio es bonito y te hace sentir como en el campo. La casa estaba muy limpia, la cama era muy cómoda y apenas se oían ruidos. Hemos descansado estupendamente. Para repetir.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, die zu empfehlen ist. Zwei Häuser weiter ist ein kleiner minimarkt mit allem was man dringend brauchen könnte. Einziger minimaler Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Straße direkt an den Schlafzimmern ist. Dort fahren die ganze Nacht Autos, was teilweise schon laut ist, wenn die Fenster offen sind. Eine sehr saubere und schöne Wohnung
